Please help me!

    r u hitting X?
i know, but I have to ask.
if u havent messed with any settings nothing should be weird.
there r tons of new overlays, sometimes in bunches and sometimes sparingly.
try another game and let the pre/post pitch scenes play out.

as far as the commentary, at the pregame screens, its usually only Matty V talking.
if you've NEVER heard the other two, go to AUDIO.VIDEO settings and see if Campbell and Karros' slider is turned down

Not sure if I'm just blind or something, but I just started a quick 14 game season before OSFM comes out. When I go to a batter's player card, and go under 2012 MLB stats, I see every single stat EXCEPT for Runs. Is anyone else (not) seeing this? Terrible oversight if this indeed is omitted from the player card.

How do you truck the catcher? I've tried what the controls say, but I can't get it to work.

I searched for an hour, but can't find it.....

Can someone give me a refresher course on the catcher signals? How do I know if it's supposed to be high/low etc.?

is 2 fingers the Circle button or the square?

          thanks

This is with using the same season load from the cloud to both Vita and PS3
I cannot be definitive but I think sliders are the same for both Vita and PS3. For one thing, sliders are saved with your franchise/season/RTTS files, so when you transfer them via cloud, the slider settings also carry over.

Are the 50ft choppers around home plate fixable through a patch? I'd understand if the ball was actually hitting home plate, but most of the time it is hitting the surrounding dirt

Sean Jeezy is right. There seems to be a lot of Baltimore Chops this year.

What training points should i increase to become a better hitter?! Right now my power is at 77 and contact around 75. Im barely getting one hit a game with the pirates. So what should i increase??

                      Thanks, very helpful!

I had that knowledge last year, but started realizing my memory was ditching me and I started second guessing if I was pitching the right locations/zones.

One more question, does 2 fingers mean pushing the O button or the Square?

                      thanks

I think the number of fingers goes with the pitch, 1 is primary, 2 is secondary, 3 is 4th pitch, etc. So it goes like

                        x - 1
                        o - 2
                        ^ - 3
                        [] - 4

Hitting was an absolute horror story for me in last year's game no matter what I did. I've read several pages in the Impressions thread and it seems like hitting has gotten a lot better this year.

I don't have time to read every single page of either that or this thread, so I apologize if someone asked this question already and it has been addressed: has hitting truly gotten better in this year's game? I feel like I wasted my money on last year's game because I couldn't hit and wasn't enjoying it as a result. Don't want to purchase this year's game unless I'm guaranteed to enjoy it. Thanks!

I'm not sure if anything has changed significantly, but there certainly are things that are done specifically (mostly under the hood I suppose) to make hitting quite a bit more pleasant experience. Like new hitting camera (which I don't use personally as an offset view lover, but I've heard good things about it), the fact that you can slow down pitch speed a bit more, the way batted balls travel to where you would expect based on your timing, etc. I probably have had only a dozen games on PS3 myself but the latter two are pretty obvious to me.

Is the fielding still automated ? Meaning, the cpu takes control over your player and goes towards the ball no matter what direction your pressing ?

Trying to get the baserunning down but don't have the time to test every situation; maybe someone can help me out with these couple of questions? (thanks in advance):

                                1) With no one on base, if I hit one in the gap, what's the easiest button sequence to send him to second?

                                2) Do you have to hold L1, or tap it, to advance bases?

                                3) Similar to the first question: do you have to select the runner with no one on base, or is he automatically selected after the ball's in play?

                                4) Runner on 1st and 2nd, ball hit in the gap: how do I send the lead runner home, and stop the trail runner at third? And if need be, how would I do all that, but stop the last runner at first if need be?

                                5) last one: it says the left stick selects runners according to the base they're on. But once they are in motion, they no longer occupy a base. How do I know which direction on the left stick controls which runner once they are in motion?

                                Thanks for any answers.
