I'll be 42 in June, I'm a high school World history teacher/football coach and my kids think it's cool that they can look me up online on the PS3 to get some gaming in. It works two-fold, because to my surprise they all joined a league with me this year with NCAA and the promise was that they had to keep their grades at "B" or better in my class in order stay in the league. They all kept their end of the bargain. Plans are already in place for us to do a league for The Show this year.

I also don't think it's a stretch anymore to see the large number of age 40+ guys still gaming. Most of us grew up gaming, albeit on the old vintage systems (Atari, Sega, Nintendo, etc.) as opposed to the fact that when we were kids, you would never see guys in their 30's-40's playing video games.

Yes you are right... I've read an article some time ago saying how the gamer demographics has shifted to higher age groups these days... so saying that video gaming is for kids isn't reflective of the current situation. And this also shows in this poll. We have an abundance of gamers though 44 y.o., and then a sudden drop over that age range...

Not really surprising because guys around 40 now did grow up with all these major consoles at home.

As a 22 year old I'm happy to know I'll have many more years of gaming that will still be acceptable. Played MLB 06 the show on PSP. Finally got a PS3 in 2010. Played my first baseball game on Game Gear: World Series Baseball.

42 years young! Been playing the Show since it started with MLB 98 and had Bernie Williams on the cover! No plans of stopping either!

42 here, been playing video game baseball since Atari's Homerun. I travel quite a bit for work so looking forward to a mobile console-worthy version of The Show.

Been gaming since, Commodore 64, etc.

Baseball is by far my favorite sports gaming and genre.

Fell in love with The Show series in 06 after being a hardcore ASB & PC MVP/High Heat gamer.

Never looked back!

I've got every The Show there is, 06, 07 for PS2 and PS3, 08, 09, 10, 11, and 12 in a couple of days First baseball game I played was Ken Griffey Jr. Baseball, what a great game, couldn't play to save my life, but it was the beginning Now I own all The Show's, MVP 2003, 04, 05 and 06, 2K6, 2K7, 2K8, and MLB Power Pros 2007 and 2008 Oh yeah, Triple Play Baseball 2001 :wink: "Gee Buck, I sure hope Santa Clause wasn't coming down that chimny". lol (so in total, I own 18 baseball games, obsessive much?)

36 years old and been a gamer since the days of the Atari 2600. My favorite baseball games have been RBI, MVP and Baseball Stars, but The Show has been at the top!! Can't wait to get my copy this year and become "Summer Jeff", as my wife calls me....

At 25 it is great to see playing Sports games won't be 'wrong' to play in the future!

38 here. Still remember my very first baseball game on the Nintendo: Major League Baseball. Didn't even have real player names. It was horrendous!!

I remember that game! My cousins and I thought that game/console was the be-all of video gaming during those days.
