Gamestop will not sell the game until the stroke of midnight. Some stores will let you inside the store to wait though - I doubt they'll do that if they're expecting a lot of people.

My area store's midnight releases don't get very big, so we usually can around here.

I "may" go out at midnight to grab my 2K12 reserve (got the bundle as I never got NBA) but since I'm picking up the VITA version from Best Buy in the morning I'll probably wait until then to go out.
