I have many times. I have no idea how to find the updated rosters in the roster vault online. I see a bunch of different ones but can never find any from the users on here. I don't have the full minors or anything like that. I can't find it online. Do I have to do everything manually? Wouldn't SCEA's roster updates erase any custom rosters here? I am confused about the whole process.

You can save as many rosters as you'd like. SCEA's roster, once downloaded, will create a new save file. It will not overwrite anything.
Secondly:
The roster vault can be tricky. And, believe it or not, there are fakes! I use OS as a reference tool, where Knight himself usually tells us the exact name of the upload. Or, better yet, if you have a flash drive, you can download the file directly from OS (while unzipping it on your PC and transferring it to your PS3).
Otherwise, try using the ratings (based on voting from people that have downloaded the file) and the total number of downloads as a guide.
Note- It's been a while since I've done this, some someone please correct me if I'm wrong.Comment

Re: ESPN:Review: MLB 12 The Show better than ever
If Steve Berthiaume would have given the game a 4 I would have no problem or bone to pick with him at all. He played the game for what it was and judged title on what was promised on the fact sheet. You can tell he put his time in before he gave an informed opinion on the game. He also pointed out what he didn't like and some flaws. As game developers that's all I think we ever ask for.
Play the game for what it is and what was promised, not wonder why this why this feature or that feature isn't in the game. It's always very nice to see when someone gives an honest informed review regardless of the score.Comment

Re: ESPN:Review: MLB 12 The Show better than ever
For guys that want changes to pitch arsenals and any glaring errors in players in regards to ratings or info....Lorne is open to hearing these and fixing them.
I know he has said to PM him directly (Lorne_SCEA)...but I think even starting a thread in the ROSTER section.....and someone gathering the suggested changes all in one PM would be fine..(rather than swamping him)
I can't guarantee he can get to them all, but it's worth a shot.
(PS....I don't know if anyone is tackling the pitch edit version of OSFM this year!(it is a massive undertaking)

This is not a factor with the traditional pitching meter but in the case of Pulse Pitching, when both players are focused on the strike zone, it seems the video equivalent of the guy in the white T-shirt in Toronto's center-field bleachers: a giveaway.Fan of the Toronto Blue Jays and Toronto Maple LeafsComment

Re: ESPN:Review: MLB 12 The Show better than ever
That was a great review. Berthiaume had a good article that I saved last year talking about creating classic players. He's clearly a big fan of sports games and The Show, and I thought the review was very well-rounded.Currently Playing:

woz411 is right. I was asking if after the thread is created if we as the users are going to have to go in and manually edit everyones pitching arsenal or are we creating the thread so the roster updates can reflect the changes?Comment
