Again, to each their own. I will never fully debate preference as that is exactly what it is, preference.
But from a realism perspective, I think pulse pitching delivers. Even the best pitchers in the game throw mistakes. No pitcher, no matter how great is 100% perfect all of the time. Meter pitching gives you that ability to never miss a spot and be absolutely precise with every single pitch. I rarely made mistakes in 11 with meter pitching unless I was tired and not paying attention.
I agree that velocity needs to be added to PP as pitchers can and do change speeds all of the time. Take something off, add something for the SO etc....
Edit: I guess I just like the thought of not knowing if I can make that perfect pitch in a clutch situation. With PP, I have to concentrate and be accurate to get that last guy out. With meter, at least for me, it was almost a guaranteed.
