My last name made it into the game! After all these years of requesting I finally got my wish.
When I saw it I wanted to cry with happiness and just pressing X and hearing Matt pronounce it correctly made fall in love with SCEA and reminded me of why I've been so loyal to this franchise for years.
RTTS will never be the same!

Anyone know how to request your name be in the game? They almost got it in there -
Weinstein -cut off the stein and and add "rich" from Goodrich and you get Weinrich just like Eric Weinrich former NHL hockey player. I use the audio to create the name for another great BBall game of a different flavor - OOTP
Sony should sell addons to have your name put in. Say $10 per name or even $20. Matt and the PA guy could earn some more money as well as Sony. or Sony create a add your name Charity with proceeds to help others. Just my two centsComment

This is the first I've heard of a major sports game incorporating fan-submitted content like names, and I gotta say this sounds very impressive! Kudos to the design team for not only having the written name, but the PA and broadcaster saying it.Comment

lol! I had this same exact experience!! Even my 8 year old son wasn't that impressed! I have a very uncommon last name and to see it anywhere and have it pronounced correctly is cool! Thanks SCEA!I was also pleasantly surprised to hear my name in the game. When I created my Road to the Show player and l looked for my last name for the first time, I can't describe how cool it was to see it listed. Then to have it prounounced correctly was something I never thought I'd hear in a sports game. Played the audio about 15 times and then called my wife in the room to hear it. She wasn't as excited as I was....

I asked to have my name put in before MLB 11 came out, but unfortunately I skipped out on that game. I haven't picked up 12 yet so I can't check myself, but does anybody mind checking if the last name "Thu" is in there?
