Whats the bug? Game froze, had to restart PS3


What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? Fantasy draft franchise

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Cannot recreate. I was playing a game like normal, was in the 11th inning when the CPU hit a sharp, foul line driver past Albert Pujols at first. I dived with Pujols to catch it, and the entire game froze in the midst of Pujols' dive.

How often can the bug be reproduced? Unknown. Hasn't happened since.

Whats the bug?
1) Injuries not working players get injured during a game but after the game there back in lineup it never ask to put them on the DL.

2)After resetting league games the stats do not reset and the players keep there stats instead of them resetting to the prior game before the games were reset. The stats need to be resync some how.

3. API (Catcher CALL feature) does not work online in the league HUM VS HUM while playing on rookie and veteran levels but if you play CPU it works.

1) League games are played with injuries on and injury frequency maxed out players do get injured but after the game there back in the lineup uninjured.

2.Games were played and some simmed and I reset them but stats do not reset. Yes I can play or sim more games reset them and stats do not change.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
1) Every game.

I have the same issue and there is noway to delete the league without going into it.

I also joined a friends league to test out stuff and as soon as I hit X to enter that league my PS3 locks up and I could have a corrupted file so when I restart the PS3 it downloads some files again.

These online leagues need a hard look at them and some type of fix soon!

I mean you can only create 2 leagues and join 4 so out of the 2 leagues u make 1 is messed up u cant enter it or delete it,I can only enter 1 but if that one gets screwed up then the only reason I bought this game was to play online and run a online league will be useless.

Whats the bug? Playing as the Reds (me) vs the Red Sox (cpu), with bases loaded and 2 outs, I struck out swinging but the catcher dropped the ball. Instead of just tagging home plate (plenty of time to do so), he threw to first base for the 3rd out. This isn't really a bug so much as it is logic. Would hate to see this happen in an important game and the catcher make a throwing error when all he had to do was take one step and step on home plate to end the inning.

Whats the bug?

In Franchise mode, the bottom MLB ticker with the scores and stats shows the wrong players for the wrong teams in the stats. It also shows my team I'm currently playing with(Oakland) against a different team than I'm actually playing against live with players not on my team in the stats/pitchers records.

Example: I was playing Colorado and the ticker showed up and said I was playing the Los Angeles of Anaheim and that Troy Tulowitzki was 1-1 in the game for Oakland when he is on the Rockies.

I've seen this in every game also. Had mauer on the reds for example and then the twins again on the same ticker.

Whats the bug? During RTTS at Yankee Stadium, there is a bug in which for the entire game, the jumbotron will get stuck showing the team vs. team display instead of the normal player stats, lineups, etc.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, RTTS, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....) RTTS

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? I came across some YouTube videos where this glitch was present, so I contacted the creator of those videos, and he says that he sees this glitch on every single RTTS game he plays at Yankee Stadium. The jumbotrons are working properly at all of the road ballparks he visits in RTTS, though.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
Always for this guy. I can't personally check it out because I would have to actually create a RTTS character and make it to the big leagues with the Yankees in order to test it. One thing I noticed is that if I play exhibition mode at Yankee Stadium, the jumbotron will be stuck on the team vs. team screen when the first batter comes to the plate, but the jumbotron will fix itself by the time the first pitch is thrown. Maybe this is why the jumbotron is being screwed up in RTTS...because it doesn't get a chance to get fixed when the lead-off man bats.

Whats the bug? When stealing, if there is a pass ball or the catcher drops the transfer before the throw the game literally stops and you’re forced to PS button out and quit the game

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? When stealing 2<SUP>nd</SUP> in RTTS I’ve broke for second, the ball has either gone passed the catcher or the catcher has dropped the ball trying to get the throw off. When that happened no players make a move for the ball all standing in place. Once my player has either slid into second or, when no slide was made, crossed home plate, he also just stands there. The game then does not advance. No commentary, no ability to pause the game, the only button functional is the PS Button and I’m forced to quit the game

How often can the bug be reproduced? Twice. Both steals took place on 0-0 Counts. First time it was a passed ball, my player slid into second and became unusable and the game did not advance. The second time the catcher dropped the transition and made no move to pick it up. My player did not slide into second and subsequently took third and home and the game did not advance.

Usually in first at bat for Michael Cuddyer in Franchise mode against The Milwaukee Brewers the announcer will say that everyone should be on their feet after all the years Cuddyer was a player in Minnesota yet I am playing against the Brewers.

less of a bug, and more of a design omission but In extra innings, any custom music set up for innings 1-9 is ignored and the default The Show theme plays instead. Can ruin the purpose of setting up team specific custom broadcast music for coming in and out of innings.

It can be recreated by any extra inning game, seems the code takes the inning number literally - maybe should go off of inning 9's setup?

Not sure if there's anything that triggers it, per se. No, I cannot create it on my own, but it does happen.

I'm getting roughly one ground-rule double per game. That just seems too disproportionate.

I tried to trade for Strasberg and was told he was not under contract and therefore could not, the next day he was traded to another team even though he still did not have a contract. This happens throughout the entire off season every year of franchise. Happened in last years version as well.

Jumbo at Nationals Park has the home lineup's positions wrong, shows the same positions as the visiting team's counterparts (e.g. my LF bats 3rd, shows Ryan Zimmermann as LF as well but he plays 3B; my 3B bats 4th, shows Adam LaRoche as 3B as well but he plays 1B ). This was in '11 as well (and in Miller Park but it was fixed there).

How often?
Any game at Nationals Park

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Playing as a SP in RTTS, the CPU hit a single to RF, and the CPU runner got greedy and tried to go home. The Right Fielder has all day to throw home, he threw home with the runner just rounding 3rd, the catcher was about a foot in front and to the right of the bag, had all day to get into position, but did nothing until after the runner was by him and then tried to tag him out, and whiffed. To be precise, the catcher recieved the ball as the runner was rounding 3rd. I don't know if it can be recreated.

IMPORTANT FIX with the patch

1 The online , Fix broadcast real time



2 the music stops when the game returns ( inning end )

I want the music like mlb show 11 ( it's stupid to think to have the music stop )

This may be important , but I'll be happy if it's fixed

Whats the bug? Starts with an audio glitch - Either loud distortion on the commentary track or the PA announcer stuck in a loop, then the commentary disappears before the game freezes completely a couple of minutes later, requiring a reset or disc ejection.

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? Franchise - Haven't had any issue with RTTS or HR Derby

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? It just happens early in a franchise game, no matter what I do.

How often can the bug be reproduced? Every franchise game

HR hitting off foul pole ruled as foul ball

What game mode did you experience the bug/glitch in? (Gameplay, RTTS, Franchise, Online, Front End, etc.....) Online - Challenge of the Week (and probably exclusive to that mode)

How did it happen or what did you do to trigger it? Can you recreate it? Kemp destroys a pitch from Lincecum (power swing), HR camera triggers (following the ball instead of the shadow), and the ball slams off the 3B line foul pole. Ruled as a foul ball, and only awarded the points for distance and no momentum bonus.

How often can the bug be reproduced?
I believe this is a holdover bug from last year, so probably fairly often. Only the first time I've seen it myself, though.

You can see pretty clearly which ball hit off the pole, and what it was ruled as by the color.
