My code wasn't working either. I got the "invalid or already used...blah blah" message. I called Sony, they said it will be working sometime today, not sure on an exact time but it will be up today.

Hopefully it's a Sony thing and not a MLB The Show thing....

Well the activation code goes through the Sony store and then it downloads your activation patch from the Sony store. So the store update is probably what we are waiting on.

Last year online was not available til Noon est. time due to Challenge of the Week regulations. At least that is what was said last year on theshownation community forums.

I was about ready to take mine back. Mine said invalid as well.

Don't take it back MLB The Show Sh!ts[]on MLB 2K series year after year, as stated before 12am est time servers were up last year everyone that has the game has invalid code message so your not the only one just be glad that you can get used to this years game before online servers are up!!!

Yes, I was prompted that March 6th Roster update was available when game loading

But, once the game is installed, doesn't future roster updates need to be manually downloaded by signing into the game's connection center? If so, I'm guessing that will require using the online pass code?

I have the Vita and PS3 version. I keep trying to activate on the Vita version, the Online Pass Activation Code, and it say it is invalid, even though I just bought it new at Best Buy. I heard the server was down earlier, but I just tried again and still a no go. I see that other people are having luck now, but still the same for me on the Vita version. If it doesn't activate by tomorrow I will take it back to Best Buy and exchange it for another. I am in the east coast of the U.S. Anyone else having this problem still on MLB 12 The Show VITA version?

There is no longer a real SportsConnect section. Everything is more seamless. I could be wrong but we should get prompted to download when official roster updates are available.

Question: I'm using my roommate's ps3 as mine is being fixed (YLOD); How many times can "my" code be used?
Should I wait to get my ps3?
Because if it doesn't get fixed, I'm buying a new one next week.
So, should I wait to use the code?

Its on the back of the manual.

EDIT: I meant to say "It SHOULD BE on the back of the manual." If you don't have it you could probably call Sony or maybe one of the devs on here can help you.

I bought the game last night at midnight from a gamestop and did not receive an online passcode. I've looked everywhere in the manual and box for it. Who should I contact to get one? The game prompts me to look on the back of the manual and all that's there is a picture of a controller. Am I missing something?

Nevermind, I'm a fool. I somehow mixed up my mlb the show cases and was looking at the wrong manual. When looking for a code it really helps if you're looking at the correct manual.
