    Re: First Homerun

My first game was ARI @ WAS, with me controlling the Nats (Kennedy vs Strasburg)

    Arizona's first batter: Stephen Drew
Result: Home run to dead center on a 3-2 slider that hung

    My first hitter: Ian Desmond
Result: First swing was a home run to left field on a change up. Werth walked and then Zimmerman hit a 2-run HR to left.

Double leadoff HR's...crazy way to start it! All sliders were default

My first HR was actually my first hit. Miguel Cabrera against Jimenez. I ended up losing that game against the Indians 7-1

Ben Revere off of Josh Johnson with a shot to RF at Target Field. I think it was Revere's first ever HR and that includes Little League. I bet dollars to donuts I will never hit one with him ever again.

Matt Kemp off Jhoulys Chacin to right-center. A 2-run no-doubter (normal swing).

Chacin had thrown me two straight first pitch fastballs for strikes. So with Kemp up I said, if he throws me that crap right now I'm going to jump all over it.

              He did.

                Re: First Homerun

I got one in Spring Training, so that doesn't count. Other than that, I haven't gotten a homerun yet. It's absolutely infuriating, never have I been denied so many extra base hits in all of the time I played The Show 11. The entire time I played 11 not once did a CPU player jump at the fence and steal a homerun from me, this time around? My first four over the fence hits were leaped for and caught. And I checked the replay every single time to make sure it was over the fence.

And Eric thames has dove and stole over ten doubles from me in just the three games I've played against the blue jays. Absolutely insane. It is incredibly frustrating for me because I feel like the quality of my contact and timing is better than it was in 11 at a harder difficulty, and yet every time I actually hit the ball well, in places that should almost certainly score me some runs, it gets stolen from me. I've played 6 season games, and I've scored two runs out of those six games... and both of those runs came from a sacrifice bunt with a guy at third. It's to the point where I'm even frightened to swing the bat because no matter what I do, it gets stolen from me.

Jimenez is a beast in the virtual world, as an Indians fan, he is pretty much the determining factor on whether or not we have a chance to win our division in the real world.

First one was a 2 run oposite field (right field) home into the bullpen at the Rogers Centre by J.P. Arencibia against Derek Holland.

Second one was a 2 run homer into the little tunnel thing in left field beside the home bullpen at Angel Stadium with brett lawrie against Dan Haren.

Brandon Phillips vs Johan in my very first AB. Although that was my only hit for the first 4 innings.
