Catcher offset, lets me see it better lefty/righty, righty/lefty, and gives me a little disadvantage lefty/lefty, righty/rightyComment

Re: What hitting view are you using?
Honestly I have been using custom pulled up to the batter and higher than normal so it resembles more real life baseball. I do have to boost my sliders a bit but I think it is the most realistic view I have ever played with. I love it. It makes me feel a lot more like I am actually batting. My view usually gets most of the player bat in view but with some players the bat is a bit offscreen if that helps. Cuts of his shoes as well so it is pretty close and it is also way more exciting and more real to life judging pitches.
Same thing for pitching. I have the view close but not too close. I love it.Comment

WIDE cam zoomed all the way back then tilt camera down any keep pulling back. Eventually will see "Black" on the ground. Then adjust until you get a look you like.Joshua:

Re: What hitting view are you using?
i bat from a customized broadcast looking camera. i don't really pay attention to the catcher signs even though last time i checked they were bogus anyway and don't give away the pitches being thrown. i find it very challenging...i use zone batting, but hope the zone analog "reversed controls" from this angle is fixed if there is a patch. woodweaver indicated in another thread that he hopes to get this fixed if there is patch released.I have and I feel like I am cheating somehow lol. It's a cool view to play from but it just seems far to easy.
Somebody last year posted some screen shots of a cool custom camera. It was offset and allowed the player to see more of the stadium which was pretty cool. Perhaps people can post some screenshots of there "custom" hitting views.Comment

If you look at the pitcheri bat from a customized broadcast looking camera. i don't really pay attention to the catcher signs even though last time i checked they were bogus anyway and don't give away the pitches being thrown. i find it very challenging...i use zone batting, but hope the zone analog "reversed controls" from this angle is fixed if there is a patch. woodweaver indicated in another thread that he hopes to get this fixed if there is patch released.. That is what messed it up for me.Spoilerthe grip is shown in the glove so you know which pitch is comingComment

Re: What hitting view are you using?
I'm using G'Mo's custom offset camera but I leave the camera centered instead of offset... Works really nice!!Milwaukee Brewers | Green Bay Packers | North Carolina Tar Heels | Wisconsin BadgersComment

Re: What hitting view are you using?
IMO any camera works well.
If you been using a camera for a long time, switching up from time to time is a good thing. When you switch it up, you force yourself to get back to good fundamentals. And it all starts with concentrating on the release point, reading the pitch, and timing it up.
Just don't switch it every day. You hurt your vision memory that way.Madden Breakdowns Full YOUTUBE Playlist
