Ah, just hit my first no doubter with Carlos Quentin but it only went 425. I am definitely appreciating the home runs more this year -

2 run shot off Halladay. Hadn't hit anything in play all game. Got a lucky HBP, and then belted this shot with Geo Soto.

481 ft shot by Beltran on Allstar with power slider up 1 and pitch speed down 2.........I was speechless, it was definitely the longest homerun I've hit in any baseball game

Re: MLB 12: The Show - O.S. Longball Competition
I don't have a picture or video, or even an official measurement because I hit it on the Vita but after a Scott Hairston BOMB in Colorado the play by play guy announced that the blast was measured at "over 440 ft".
I think my knowledge of this bit of audio is proof of membership.Comment

Re: MLB 12: The Show - O.S. Longball Competition
Do home runs hit with the Move count? In my first game playing with it on default all-star I somehow managed to hit 8 HRs in a normal game, 4 of which were over 450'. Not sure if power is jacked up with Move batting but it did seem pretty crazy at the time. My second game I only had 1 HR. Up to you to decide the legitimacy of Move home runs jmik.

CRUSHED a ball to Left-Center field in the Anaheim Angels stadium with Chris Ianetta!
Louis Coleman pitched me a 1st strike 4SFB so I definately knew that wouldn't be the 2nd pitch so I guessed the pitch to be a changeup and low and behold it was. Right at belt height and I PLASTERED that ball. Felt so good. 460 feet.
