Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Just started my mariners chise with the new OS rosters and I have made a couple trades right away to try to help atleast challenge the rangers and angels but probably not!
Traded Michael Saunders and Chance Ruffin to the Jays for Travis Snider
I think this is just a good baseball trade, two young players who arent doing there best for there teams are given a new scenary.
Miguel Olivio and two C prospects to Nationals for John Lannon
I get a pitcher who can go right away and give the young guns some time in the minors and the Nats get a catcher to pair with Wilson Ramos.Ducks, Mariners, Blazers, Lillard, Favre, Iverson, Griffey, Hernandez, Hawks, Wilson,
My Mariners dynasty!

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Finally got my Red Sox franchise going, and as I've been playing along, (w/ the real injuries from the start of the season) I've realized that I can't hit with Ryan Sweeney and 2. That without Crawford the corner outfield defense is weak. So I am looking for a left fielder so I can use a Crawford/Ross tandem in right (moving Crawford because right field is bigger @ Fenway than left. My criteria are 1. good glove (Sweeney's cost me 5 runs over 13 games) 2. strong arm 3. Moderate or better speed 4. Can fit into a 6/7 slot in the Red Sox lineup 5. Can hit lefties.
Ideas? I have no problem with the specific position. I try to keep it realistic but I would make an exception for Josh Reddick. I am willing to give up anyone except for Swihart, Bogarts, and anyone on the mlb team - Aviles and Punto of course (note Iglesias is on MLB).Comment

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread
Interesting to see Francouer being discussed because I'm thinking about trading for him. I haven't looked into it, but I started a 30-team franchise and am playing as the Mets and Twins. I'm looking to upgrade speed for the Mets, but I want to trade away Andres Torres and was thinking of Francouer. I've always been a fan of "Frenchy," even when he was on the Braves.
I'm also looking to get rid of Bay for an outfielder with speed because the Mets are seriously lacking that. I was thinking of Michael Bourn (obviously), but I don't know what else I would have to give for that trade. I doubt Bay for Bourn straight up would work. Any ideas?New York Giants -- 4-Time Super Bowl Champions (XXI, XXV, XLII, XLVI).

As for Bourn, it doesn't have to be him, he's just the first guy who comes to mind. I don't want to get Reyes back. That just seems cheap. I try to be as realistic as possible, but I want to improve anyway I can. The Mets just need some speed.New York Giants -- 4-Time Super Bowl Champions (XXI, XXV, XLII, XLVI).

Haha true. I know I won't get Francouer for Torres straight-up, but that's who I want to include in the trade. I have no interest in him. I'll definitely add someone else for Frenchy. I'd really like to have him back. Never liked the idea of getting rid of him. He's not an elite outfielder, but he's someone who has shown that promise. He's just never lived up to it.
