Seeing as I'm a Cubs fan and don't really keep up with New York, any ideas on what the Mets would need to upgrade? Right now Ike Davis is carrying the load (leads in AVG, HR, and RBI!) but I could use some help to get to October.

    I'm thinkin J. Upton?
Wheeler, Harvey, and another good B for Upton

Yeah that's a good start. I think Wilmer Flores (3B) should be in there as well. Not sure if he's a B or C though

You think it'd take that much? I actually have Wheeler closing right now. He has been PHENOMENAL. And Harvey in the rotation too (5-1, 2.89). That'd hit me kind of hard.

Justin Upton is a 24 year old who's been in 2 all star games. He's one of the rare 5 tool guys in the majors. He won a silver slugger award last year. Not to mention he's only 24. It's gonna take a lot to get him

Im using Scott's rosters, and I do not have control of the cpu.
Im not super realistic, id rather enjoy playing with my team.

On a side note, Pedro is killing me in the field but i feel like i have to build my cornerstone around him... *sigh*. I guess i coud mov him for the right deal.

I dont want to give up Marte as the buccos have such few prospects(at least it seems so in this game/rosters), but mostly any other non-starter could move.

              Suggestions?
              Thanks!

I do not think i would do tht Mauer trade as it is a little much... buch they would not accept it anyway (using scott's latest rosters).

Still looking for suggestions for a catcher or SS.

The indians show full interest in trading Santana for Taillon/Heredia with or without Barajas but never except the trade (even through interest bar is maxed).

              Any thoughts?
              Thanks

My guess of why the Indians won't accept the trade is because the CPU doesn't see that trade fitting their strategy. If it says that under the interest bar, the CPU will never accept that trade no matter how full the bar is

For SS try Jed Lowrie if the Astros are out of the race, and for a catcher I'd go with Ramon Hernandez out of Colorado. 2 B's for Lowrie and 2 C's for Hernandez

ahh thanks... It did say that, but for some reason I thought that was saying it didnt fit my own team's strategy!

Good to know... So anytime the "doesnt fit strategy" text is up there is no point in even offering?
                      -Thanks

Pretty much. I've never had the CPU accept an offer when it said it doesn't fit their strategy

I'm all honestly the Cuba are in such a desperate time of rebuilding they couldn't afford to give up the prospects to receive upton. With that said tho the D-Backs aren't wanting prospects...they want MLB ready legit "win now" players....I'd say garza, dempster..Because the D-Backs need pitching

LaHair to an extent (even tho I love the guy) but only because he has outfield experience not for 1B.

Soriano maybe, but highly unlikely unless you paid most his contract...which you cant (in the show)

Anyone else can jump in and help with suggestions...good question as well because in my cubs chise I want him but I'm not willing to sale my farm for a 2 year rental...

depends on the records and stats of both teams
