I just called up teheran from the minors, he has A potential and thought I would give him a try but would rather not start him so early in the season.

    any ideas??
You could try getting Peavy from the Sox. They're starting to rebuild, plus he hasn't been his best with them, so he shouldn't be too hard to get. I've loved pitching with him this far, and of he's the Peavy he was with the Padres, he can be an ace oncemore.

Don't the Phillies owe the Astros something else after the Pence robbery?

All jokes aside, JD is a finished product that the Phillies can plug in LF right away while Dom Brown probably just needs a fresh starts. On paper I'd rule in favor of the Astros here so how about JD and a lesser C prospect you can spare for Dom Brown?

Where would he get playing time in that lineup if any? They have Rajai Davis that could spell Thames out of left field. They also have Ben Francisco.

Is it possible that you could bring Davis in Houston. You still have Lee or Wandy to pick up prospects. If you don't bring in a replacement for JD that leaves Houston just with Buck to take over left field for now.

There's a revolving door in LF with Thames, Davis and Snider all vying for that spot. I figure they go Rasmus in CF and Bautista in RF.

JD Martinez would be the everyday LF with the Jays being able to shop any combo of Thames, Davis and Snider for help in other areas.

I agree it's a long shot but it's good to vent all ideas cuz even if some are less realistic, they can lead you to come up with a new better one that ends up working

No way. TO really likes Rasmus, they definitely wouldn't want a pitcher who'd die in the AL East for him.

                        If you're using Knight's roster, Cecil/Francisco/Sierra.

In need of a lefty/switch bat off the bench or to start in place of Cozart for my Reds franchise. Contact preferred but could also use a heavy swinger. Would ideally be 2B/SS so contact may be more realistic.

                              Suggestions?

Keeping Votto, Phillips, Bruce, Mesoraco, Heisey, Chapman and Cueto.

I have a question about trading a player when running a 30-team franchise.

I only actually control one team (as many people do here on OS) and I set everything to "auto" for the other 29 teams. I'm currently trying to trade Marlon Byrd to the Red Sox as was done in real life.

I offered the trade to Boston and it said that they are considering my offer and will get back to me. But as the following week goes by I don't hear anything (see any notifications) and after a week or so it no longer even appears under "pending transactions."

I know I can go in and manually accept/override it, since technically I also control Boston, but I'm curious what will happen in the future when I try to make other trades. I want to be able to offer trades and get them accepted/rejected just as I would if I did not go with 30-team control.

Am I doing something wrong here? It just seems like there should be some notification somewhere. Maybe a, "we've considered your offer and have decided to decline." Even though the offer is very good for the Red Sox.
