Lol I think I'm going to start an Oakland chise, I like the upside of the team and the budding stars. Nofatgurlz, you know them well, for the entire infield, besides second are you waiting on an in house replacement or are you sticking with any of them for the long haul

Inge, Pennington and Moss are definetly NOT long-term answers....first thing i'd do if i were u would be to give Grant Green extensive playing time in spring training and move him back to SS...hopefully he can hit major-league pitching...for 3B u gunna prolly have to stick with Inge/Donaldson/Sogard for a year and find somebody in free agency....Moss can hold down the fort for one year but it's best to look else come the offseason...i'd go with Carter myself at 1B instead

Please DFA or demote Inge to A ball. I can't stand that man haha. 4 years of Mendoza line hitting with 5-10 HR and average (at best) defense on the Tigers, he deserves to rot in the depths of A ball with Milk Carton and Brian Bixler for eternity.

NFG, Inge is my Milk Carton.

lmao yeah i know how u Tiger fans feel about Inge..hence why i wasnt goo-goo-gaga over his hot start when he got picked up...unfortunately if u know anything about the A's, we dont have any other ready options with Sizemore( another former Tiger) out for the year....trust me man, if there was anybody ready at AAA, i'd fly him to Oakland myself

Yeah I know...I liked Scott and was sad to see him go for as worthless a piece as Purcey. He won't be a star in this league...but he can hit .270 with 10-15 HR and solid defense at the hot corner. Definitely a better option than Inge.

And I understand the no ready talent thing...that's why the Tigers were playing him at 2B this year. I think that's the only way he gets a job lol. When a team has no ML ready talent at a position. Ugh, thank god we released him when we did.

Dickey: As of all star game, 3-7 record with a 5.87 ERA. I'm currently 4 games out of first place. As far as teams that are seeking starters go, Indians, Rangers, Brewers, and Cardinals need some pitching, and are in playoff push mode.

You wouldn't be able to trade a player with a 5+ ERA at the deadline for anything worthwhile...idk how many times we have to say that in this thread for people to understand lol.
