Depends on your needs but I was thinking like a 3rd starter, solid setup man, young fielder with upside for AAA depth this year etc.

Read you were thinking of Andrus from the Rangers. How about Escobar and that kid Norris for him? Don't know what the Rangers lineup looks like in 2013 for you but the way I see it, they could use Escobar at 3B, SS or 2B to mix and match while Beltre/Kinsler DH'es. Is Profar ready in 2013 for them or another year away?

Rangers have too full an infield, it's why they're trading Andrus. Beltre/Profar/Kinsler/Olt/Moreland. Right now, I think Olt is gonna 1B while Moreland DHs.

        Profar looks about ready.

Re: 2012 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

Alright so the Diamonbacks need to ditch a SP in my franchise and I really need pitching being the Twins.. I already traded my best SP prospect (Kyle Gibson) and a good outfield prospect (Aaron Hicks) for a struggling Matt Garza whos been lights out since coming over to me. Now I'm hoping I can do the same with Edwin Jackson..

Edwin Jackson is having a pretty typical year.. 4.2 ERA 3-6 around 7 Ks/9. What do you think it would take from me to get him, I'm the Twins and I'm using Scott's post deadline rosters I think.

A little more information, I'm in June and despite being 1 game under .500 im still going 1 GB of the division leading White Sox, My offense is carrying me and my pitching staff is ruining me. I have 2 good pitchers in the rotation, Scott Diamond and Matt Garza. The other 3 slots have been tried out by guys like Pavano, P.J. Walters, Liam Hendricks, Shairon Martis, Nick Blackburn and others. None of them have been panning out.

          I was thinking a B and a C?

Low B and a High C for Jackson.

Do the Angels need a SS other than Aybar/Izturis? How about about SS Andrew Romine in return along with some bullpen depth named Kevin Jepsen?

Did the D'backs fill the void left by Stephen Drew? If not, Escobar is a really nice fit there and one of their OF prospects, AJ Pollock or Adam Eaton would be a nice return to get you some AAA depth

I don't particularly need pitching of OFs. Mostly, I need middle IFs. And Angels are stacked across the board.

Does anyone really care where I sent this from?

Guess the Pirates could use a reliable SS
