Just wondering if we can control if the roof is opened or closed?? It's estimated that the roof will be closed for 70 of the 81 home games.

Nope. We have no control over the roof on any of the retractable stadiums.

I don't understand why we don't get the option to pick if the roof is open or closed. I remember in Madden games you pick if the roof would be open or closed, so why can't we have that option in The Show? I understand that it might take up a lot of memory having two of the same stadiums in the game, but I would be willing to give up a classic map if we had the option to open or close the roof.

Marlins Park will no doubt be better next year. They may even patch in something if it needs it.

I wonder how much they paid for that deal in the outfield with the fish and water. Me and a couple buddies could have built that for around $500 bucks.

I do think the Stadium is completely stale at the moment. Needs more life or something. I HATED the unis at first but they are definately growing on me.

Onn another note im just playing an exhibition at marlins park and the mascot came out. He is still dressed in the old uni. Mistake, oversight?

Well one thing it needs are the real palm trees next to the HR structure. That would add a little more to the park visually. But as a whole I think Sony did a decent job with it.

Check out the picture someone posted on pg 3 of this thread and you'll see what I mean about the palm trees.

Yeah, I played a RTTS game in this park last night and it was raining. I thought it was funny. I guess the maintence guys forgot to close the roof before the storm came in

It's a nice stadium and all, but you can't beat the feeling you get from the endless grey concrete, blue plastic and brown/green fieldturf of the Skydome. I get shivers every time I'm there, I tells ya.

The Miami Marlins Ballpark is pretty awesome...However, the flamboyant art deco HR celebration structure will definitively not grow on me. Somethings you might not have noticed since they are not in the game:

1. Left Center F (above field) does have a patio/bar area that's not in the game.
2. Left Center F (floor) has the 'Clevelander' (as like the club/bar in South Beach). Here they have a bar, seats and a pool. Wait until you see the close ups of a home game!...
3. The view from HOME to RF is amazing. Beautiful view of downtown Miami.
4. You can see the game from any area in the lower bowl while buying food and drinks. Totally awesome idea that we have never experienced...
5. The A/C. I really do not and will not miss baking on Sunday home games.

I do have one negative thing to say. That homerun song the Marlins have is horrible! Really, really horrible!
