Re: Manage Only Sub-Thread
Start an exhibition game, and then go to camera. You have four customs you can use. Choose one and edit from there. what I did was choose I believe is St. Louis' broadcast and edit from there and then save. Now when you start a game make sure you choose the custom camera as your default as the one you edited. For example if you chose custom 1. Use that camera as the default for both pitching and catching in your user profile.Comment

Re: Manage Only Sub-Thread
Since I started this discussion on camera angles, I've been experimenting some more. I tend to change around during the game. When I'm in the mood for a more authentic "manager" view, I use dugout. I still love press box, but the different views at different stadiums in broadcast are really neat. Thanks, everyone, for giving me fresh ideas on this.Boston Red Sox Oakland Raiders Iowa State CyclonesComment

Re: Manage Only Sub-Thread
Will I ever win another game? Things were going ok, I had a 12-11 record but then Bourn got hurt, Hanson decided he wanted to go on the DL as well and I've dropped 5 in a row on this long west coast road trip.
What are things you do to try and stop a losing streak?Comment

Re: Manage Only Sub-Thread
Braves, are you seeing a realistic amount of injuries on Default? I'm an MoM player and have not started my Franchise yet. I am assuming Bourn and Hanson went down while playing, not simming? ThanksComment

Re: Manage Only Sub-Thread
Yeah I play every game, injuries are set to 7. I've seen about 5 injuries, none have been too serious thankfully. Bourn was hurt when he was hit by a pitch.Comment

Re: Manage Only Sub-Thread
I hardly ever use pitch aggressive. Unfortunately the cpu takes over and decides to pitch around hitters sometimes, especially power hitters. When that happens I use pitch to batter. When I'm winning 3-0 I don't want to pitch around the leadoff hitter even it it's Babe Ruth.Pitch aggressive is to get the pitcher to throw a strike. I usually use it if I'm behind in the count against a below average hitter. In my opinion, pitch to batter is just telling the pitcher to pitch an unbiased way and not take into consideration how good or bad the batter is.Comment

I'd say maybe shake up the lineup a little just to see if somebody on the bench can give you a spark.Slumps are the worst, sometime I try to change it up too much.Slumps are part of the game,I'm sure you'll come out of it soon the Braves are a good clubGiants

I asked Brian what the two things did.He didn't answer for Pitch Aggressive, but did tell me Pitch to Batter just meant throw more strikes.I think Pitch Aggressive just means try to throw quality strikes Aka corners, not sure thoughPitch aggressive is to get the pitcher to throw a strike. Re: Manage Only Sub-Thread
How many MOM players have umpires off, and if so are you seeing a lot of low scoring games? It seems clear to me after about 50 games that something has been done to gameplay which has changed the game this year.
I thought the show '11 had it perfect in terms of gameplay with umpires off which theoretically is the purest way to test the code, no manufactured interference from variable AI "umpires".
Another question, does anybody know the difference between umpire settings "standard" and "off"?Comment
