Russell just said in this thread that 8 1/2 hits/gm is about the median or average number. That equates to a .240 to .250 batting average. So it puzzles me how a very respectable 34-10 record can have a .211 batting average and be happy with that. You're a good player I'm assuming, why isn't your batting average in the .240 to .250 range? That is where batting averages SHOULD be in my opinion, offline AND online.
I usually center swing too, I'm 48-25 and I'm only hitting .167 How can guys like you and me win more than we lose batting so poorly? Because other people are hitting even worse! lol
Why are two respectable players batting so far below where the number should be offline or online and still winning 70-80% of their online games?
