The ball gets to the outfielders too fast. I believe It is causing the RF throw out on singles in human v human, difficulty in taking the extra base, hits down the line, 1st to 3rd advancing etc.

It also looks silly when there is a clean single to the outfielder and the batter barely makes it to first by the time the ball is back to an infielder. Don't most MLB players round first on singles and at least think about second?

Also, when the outfielder can't get there in time on liners (and it does happen) he seems to dive a lot and the ball goes through to the wall for extra base hits. The OF needs better logic to realize the situation and let the ball fall in front of him instead of the all out play.

^I don't think people are really complaining about if something will get fixed, its more about when it'll get fixed(meaning when is that patch coming out). The wait is usually the worst part lol

The wait is killing me, I am so ready to start my franchise. These exhibition games are getting boring, I'm ready for some meaningful games. If I knew that the schedule wasn't getting fixed anytime soon, and that Andy Pettitte wasn't going to be in the first roster update I'd just go ahead and start it. I wish they would at least tell us what they are working on with the first patch so we'd have a heads up.

The wait is killing me, I am so ready to start my franchise. These exhibition games are getting boring, I'm ready for some meaningful games. If I knew that the schedule wasn't getting fixed anytime soon, and that Andy Pettitte wasn't going to be in the first roster update I'd just go ahead and start it. I wish they would at least tell us what they are working on with the first patch so we'd have a heads up.

That's what I'm saying, too. I just want to know either way. If they don't fix the schedules though, I don't see myself getting very far into franchise.

Unfortunately, I agree with you here. I may have to sell if they don't fix this 1st patch as it will assure that I will not finish a season (don't sim). I know to some it is not a big deal, but it is to me (and many others). Some people did not purchase this year because of the poor stat tracking (career and season to season). I love this game, but its all about franchise for me.

I agree to some of your casual "just pick up any sports game and play it" people, the game start times arent going to mean jack. But to myself and a lot of other people on these boards, who are actual hardcore baseball fans, we want a game that is going to reflect every aspect of the game in a realistic way, which this game does in every way. Thats why having improper start times makes it so hard to deal with. Throwing that afternoon game in there on Wednesday or Thursday from time to time is something we want to see. Or also that Saturday night game every now and then. For a game that proclaims itself as "So real it's unreal" Having something like this is just unacceptable.

This is, without question, a bigger deal for Cubs fans than anyone else. Since the Cubs play a majority of their home games during the day.

Surprising nothing has come out and the month is basically done. Past few years there's always been a patch in March

Games only been out literally just over 3 weeks.

Something will be in the works, this is SCEA.

Thanks for the reply. Perhaps a better question would have been to ask what generation you are from. I'm old enough to remember when the entire world series was played in the daytime, even in ballparks which had lights (not all of them did), because MLB thought that was how the game should be played.

Times have changed.

ok, mlb regular season started this morning, "go m's" but still no patch, i always thought they came out with the big patch before or on the day or maybe a day after the regular season starts, i need a patch to see if i even wanna keep this game or go back to 11', my opinion

I admit I'm getting antsy while I watch OS realtime waiting for that first post to pop up saying "The patch is Up!"

I just want to know so I can start my season. I hate to start now then have to start over again if the start times get changed in a patch.

I'm actually ok with the game as it is but if it did get a patch of course I'd want to get the fixes/changes.

Ive been checking this forum daily for any news of the patch. It would be nice to start my franchise with the correct start times before opening day.
