The ball gets to the outfielders too fast. I believe It is causing the RF throw out on singles in human v human, difficulty in taking the extra base, hits down the line, 1st to 3rd advancing etc.
It also looks silly when there is a clean single to the outfielder and the batter barely makes it to first by the time the ball is back to an infielder. Don't most MLB players round first on singles and at least think about second?
Also, when the outfielder can't get there in time on liners (and it does happen) he seems to dive a lot and the ball goes through to the wall for extra base hits. The OF needs better logic to realize the situation and let the ball fall in front of him instead of the all out play.
