I think that this is a situation where a developer's great reputation actually hurts them in the short term. If this were an EA game, we wouldn't even be having this conversation until 6 weeks from now. Since SCEA, and the guys on The Show have such a good track record, they are expected to produce these types of fixes immediately. Is it fair? Probably not. Does it matter to the end user? Unfortunately, probably not.
Let's give them a little bit of slack based on track record. Either way, I be the question isn't IF it gets fixed, the question is WHEN.
