I don't think anyone is rushing them. It's not like the game was just released yesterday and we're rioting in here demanding they fix this now. It's been a month and I think we've been pretty patient. I just think when we first noticed this issue every one assumed this would be fix by Opening Day or well before Opening Day because usually SCEA is on top of these things. I don't think that was crazy to assume.

And I cry myself to sleep everynight over this while my wife looks at me like I'm crazy!

I think that this is a situation where a developer's great reputation actually hurts them in the short term. If this were an EA game, we wouldn't even be having this conversation until 6 weeks from now. Since SCEA, and the guys on The Show have such a good track record, they are expected to produce these types of fixes immediately. Is it fair? Probably not. Does it matter to the end user? Unfortunately, probably not.

Let's give them a little bit of slack based on track record. Either way, I be the question isn't IF it gets fixed, the question is WHEN.

Not immediately. No one expected this be fixed immediately. I may be arguing semantics here, but we've waited a full month. SCEA, EA, 2K, it doesn't matter. I expect an issue like wrong start times to be fixed in a month, or at least hear that they are working on it. Is that expectation too high? I don't think so.

SCEA won't upstage OSFM, they can still have this thing out this week, tomorrow, for the opening day slate of games.
sony doesn't let its buyers down when it comes to patches.

My problem isn't that the patch isn't out, but that we haven't even heard from them since release.
They could at least address the issue.

Yeah - the whole day/night game thing is a deal breaker to me. As a huge cubs fan, im not playing my weekday home games at night. That should be a rarity, much like it is in real life.

What do you want the new title to be?

It doesn't matter to me. As long as it isn't as misleading. I don't really have any ideas on what to rename it but I've seen complaints about people expecting something else when they opened it.

You guys do realize that the Devs tend to take a mini-vacation after the initial release because they are working non-stop on the game for a good 10 months straight? I would say that you all just need to have a little patience. I've seen several devs and Ramone on the past few weeks. I'm willing to bet that there is something in the works and will probably will be released in the coming weeks. We did have a patch already if people didn't notice....The pattern I have noticed over the years is that they tend to release a patch shortly after opening day then maybe one more to tidy up any major issues such as the game kicking you back to the XMB back in '09 or the run scoring after three were already out in '10. Just chill for once. Things always work out like they are supposed to with The Show.
