And that's exactly what's killing me. I love this game but I cannot justify playing nearly all the games at Wrigley at night. There's almost a novelty of playing at Wrigley at night and having 80% of the games that way just isn't right. I've been occupying my time with Skyrim so I'll keep checking back until the update corrects the start times.

I'd like to see more slots added for pitchers. For instance, Vance Worley throws 6 pitches: 4 Seam Fastball, Slider, Cutter, 2 Seam Fastball, Change Up, and Cutter.
In addition, I'd like to see pitch repertoires in general updated... or the selection of them. I don't understand why if I'm playing RTTS, I can't use a vulcan change up (for instance). The split fingered change up is an outpitch used by two of the best pitchers in the league, yet it isn't represented in the game.Comment

Same here. Only play with the Cubs. I'll just have to wait. As that other dude said, night games are a novelty and I love Wrigley in the day SO much better. RTTS is where I think I'll spend my time until the patch.Comment

When doing historical rosters, tons of pitchers had just 2 pitches and I ended up just giving them a 2 and 4 seamer...for some reason it still bugged me...im all bout simComment

Re: What would you like to see in the next title update?
As far as gameplay is concerned, I personally would like to see this adjustment in theSLAB's post be made. Otherwise ball physics is fine for this year. This is a good post that condenses what feels funny right now about the ball physics.
The one portion of the ball physics that I believe could use some tweaking, is the energy loss calculation for balls with very low or very high angular velocity vectors. The former is just a matter of achieving the optimal CoF for the dirt/grass/etc. I think it is subjective, because I have seen balls hit hard enough to get to the wall, down the line (at Comerica). The latter is less affected by surface coefficient of friction, so that is why we see high bounces that end up as GRDs, or high bounces behind/off of the plate. In theory, these balls that contact an object (grass, dirt, homeplate, pitching rubber) at these steep angles, should lose more kinetic energy due to absorption (coefficient of restitution). With each material absorbing more or less. I think the balls that are hit in between these conditions, travel pretty much perfectly. So I don't think ball physics actually play a part in the long singles "issue" - not sure how the conversation switched to that from arm strength vs. player speed, etc.Last edited by nomo17k; 04-10-2012, 10:15 PM.Comment

Probably not happening but the ridiculous bounces in this game are just amazing. The field is a trampoline. I've seen foul balls bounce as high as the upper deck.Comment

I've thought the same thing after watching some balls bounce up over fences for ground rule doubles, and I mean way up.Comment
