Re: 1st MLB 12 The Show Patch
Also I'd like them to fix a glitch that happens in Yankee Stadium during night games.
When a batter is coming up to the plate and the camera shows the Stadium hallways in the background, there is a black flickering of the outline where the walls meet the ceiling.
Not a huge deal, but it's annoying and the stadium environment should not flicker like that.Comment

Re: 1st MLB 12 The Show Patch
There is a delicate balance between all of the components that encapsulate "BALL-IN-PLAY GAMEPLAY"
On default sliders, currently the game is tettering on the edge in regards to balancing these components.
I would hope to see some band-aids such as not having the AI-controlled first baseman cover first on hits to the outfield. This will help to mask the imbalance of the components.
Also I would like to see some real foundational fixes in the interaction of the components such as adding the proper negative forces to batted balls and bouncing balls. So we can hit hard grounders to the wall and not hit ground rule doubles over Target Field's 23 foot high RF wall.Comment

Re: 1st MLB 12 The Show Patch
Fix the extremely high chopped foul balls bug...tagging guys out especially at home plate seeme to have a problem; I've had runners coming home beat by six steps and they catcher tagged but it didn't register and the runner was called safe. Finally some of the player models are messed up...why is Scott Hairston on the Mets a light skinned black guy?? LOL!Comment

Re: 1st MLB 12 The Show Patch
Once again (like every year) there needs to be an adjustment to the alignment of outfielders in terms of depth. "Deep" is way too deep with the outfielders lining up nearly 10 feet from the warning track. "Shallow" has them way too shallow as well which leads to guys getting gunned at 1B from RF. It's so much better than it used to be ... but there is still some tweaking to achieve the balance that's needed.Comment

Re: 1st MLB 12 The Show Patch
Teams don't only play night games during the week and day games during the weekend.
Take Cubs fans for example (i.e., myself)... MOST home Cubs games are day games, not just on the weekends.
Also, as it currently stands, their is no such thing as Sunday Night Baseball possibilities.
We don't want things randomized, we want teams to have their accurate schedules. Furthermore, this was a problem two years ago that was patched, it was fine last year, and now, somehow, it's back again this year.Comment

Re: 1st MLB 12 The Show Patch
This is a long-shot but I'm hoping the patch might address how pitcher's confidence is reset when you load an in-game save.
Does anyone know why they haven't fixed that. It honestly does seem like a simple thing to fix when compared to everything else that is saved in an in-game save.Comment
