When I first got the game I used pulse and felt that was the easiest to get the CPU to swing and miss. Now I use classic and Analog. Classic for home games and analog for away games.

I like the diversity and I have found that if I stick to one pitching mechanic I tend to get too sharp with it. Just my internal settings for me.

I'm on default sliders in my RTTS, All-Star difficulty and I've got 30 K's in 31.2 IP. Pretty good considering I'm the worst rated pitcher in the Angels organization still

Don't be afraid to walk the CPU. If it's 3-2 I'll try and paint a 2SFB on the outer half or run a cutter in under the hands. I haven't tried HOF yet, but last year I do remember having problems getting the CPU to swing and miss.

I'm not afraid of walks. I routinely walk 4-5 guys a game.
