Just found this topic and I'm blown away by this camera. This is about as perfect as you can get for hitting in a baseball video game. I've tried coming up with something similar myself in the past but it never seemed quite right. It'd be nice if it could be taken up just a bit higher so it's closer to where the hitter's eyes would be but still a great camera and glad to hear it's gonna be included as one of the preset cams in 13.

Re: G'MO's Custom REAL LIFE Camera
This camera is interesting. I tried out basically this same camera earlier when MLB 12 came out and thought it looked awesome visually. But I really want to see the batter when I hit, even if I would do better using another camera which I have noticed that if I zoom it more or angle the camera I do hit better. But so much of the game is in the presentation for me, its why I don't use analog hitting since I want the animation of timing/zone. I might stick with this camera for a bit though to see if I do hit better/worse though.Last edited by MrOldboy; 02-18-2013, 06:32 AM.Comment

Re: G'MO's Custom REAL LIFE Camera
you can only use this in offline games. so i used this and now struggle in online games since i cant use this camera. whats the closed pre-set camera that's already in the game that is most similar to this so i can use it for my online games?
thanks.Comment

G'MO's Custom REAL LIFE Camera
Wouldn't a camera vault be great?
Or at least make the editor show the numeric x and y so you can replicate someone's cam easily.
Any word on this if it's ever been mentioned to the Dev team before or am I the only one who thinks something like this would make things a little bit easier"When it's all set and done, reality is the best innovation."Comment

Actually, maybe that's where I posted it (wishlist thread).
EDIT: It was here. Again, only brought up in conversation is all. Would certainly be a welcomed feature.Last edited by Blzer; 02-18-2013, 12:19 PM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Re: G'MO's Custom REAL LIFE Camera
Well im glad all of you had great success with this camera, you must all have perfect or better than perfect vision cause anyone with any depth perception issues like myself have no shot at this camera or any other for that matter... if they ever decide to take out Guess pitch i will be done with baseball gaming completely. Because without it... i cant play any baseball game."Baseball is life, without Baseball life itself ceases to exist." - Ken SpragueComment

Nothing wrong with it just that i like to see the batter and a good portion of the stadium which you cannot do with this camera.
However for the people who are anal about batter stances not being 100% correct....THIS angle is for you...Comment

Re: G'MO's Custom REAL LIFE Camera
I thought this was going to be added to the show 13's camera defaults, but watching a video on all the batting cameras it wasn't there. Any ideas?Comment

It's not offset to the inside, though (the main difference to me, which actually makes the difference to me).Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
