Wow, I feel special getting a mention in this interviewI do remember telling Knight to give The Show a try...but that's about all I did. The game and then Knight "spoke" for themselves. Some of you guys know I played professionally for 7 years and when I "retired" from my illustrious career
I was in need of a baseball fix and I found it in High Heat which is where I met Knight. When HH died (wipes tear from eye) The Show, thankfully, arrived and it has been a fun time watching the series grow. I been very busy (I coach HS baseball) so I haven't been around here much lately but I still lurk and follow The Show threads. One thing I can say about Knight is that in all my years following sports games on forums (from High Heat all the way to the present) Knight is one of the most genuine guys I've encountered...and you guys know some of the people you can run into on forums
. To borrow a quote (tweeked a bit) from the great Branch Rickey when talking of Jackie Robinson, "Knight is as good a man as he is a roster maker and he's all there is of both!"
Big Time tip of the cap to Knight!

Knight is a god among men at making rosters. There probably will never be a better historic roster than his 2000 one for MLB 10, sadly. Unless he makes it of course.Comment

I saved a spot on the mantle for the award.
How big is it again?

This is the first year I've used these actually, and I gotta say... they're great!
Downloaded these, and the latest patch, and am 1-5 with the Cubs. Honestly... these rosters might be TOO good... lol.
Good work!Comment

Again...thank you...
I also want to reiterate.....that the O.S.F.M. are IMO the BEST example of a true "COMMUNITY ROSTER".
There are so many people who put in as much if not MORE work on these now...than I do and they all deserve the major recognition for the work.

So Knight's a former FPS commish. Now it all starts to make sense. I'm STILL playing that game in an online league, lol. No monthly or groundball/flyball ratings in The Show, lol but I guess Clutch is similar to the "Close and Late" and "Scoring Pos" ratings. Thank you for all you do Knight! .Comment

I still have all my copies...but cannot for the life of me get them to work on any of my PC's.
Man....e-mailing roster moves through AOL! and using BB's as the "forums".
We've come a long way.
I gotta dig through my old manuals....I have a strategy guide for FPS '96(?...could be '94 though) that's as thick as a Stephen King novel.
Good stuff.
