Even if they were able, why would they patch it in when it's a built in selling point for '13?

Do you really think they are going to sell more games....or less for that matter if they put the correct patch in this year? I understand your underlining point, but dont think it applies

In all honesty though, it would have been nice to see.

These guys over at SCEA do better than any dev team I've seen at trying to please the community. I mean within a day of word spreading that pitch types may be wrong, they reached out to the community and I'm sure they have been working tirelessly at trying to correct things. And who knows, maybe they'll tackle it.

It also sounds like one of those fixes that would require people to restart their franchise. Imagine the backlash that would cause...

If it's possible they can get it in and in a patch very soon, it would probably be a seamless transition. But if it's not in the first patch, it probably would be better to just focus on getting it in next year.

And who knows, maybe this kind of things helps them decide to incorporate more customizable options in franchise mode. It seems like just a matter of time before we can make expansion teams, decide playoff formats, etc. and let us play commissioner for awhile.

I personally...as someone who has a franchise 50 games in...think it matters if they just got it in now, or a week or two. I'd be happy, and start over. Baseball season JUST began.

ok, its 3 30am here so i'm going to bed buttttt.... if 2k has it then the best baseball game should have it, period, another thing, i'm nor sure which thread but if i recall correctly there was a post from a scea guy saying that there looking in to it, blah blah,, sounded kinda promising, but just for people that are iffy bout getting the game because of the whole playoff thing, it doesn't really matter, the astros move to the american league (for 2013) is also missing, more stuff for next year i guess, i just hope they fully make franchise super baddddd!!!!!
