    Re: Why can't we...

First of, what is this recent trend in this forum about using a very uninformative title for a thread? More informative titles would save everyone time by not clicking on topics that are not of their interests... Opening up this thread, I was fully expecting an OP which reads:

... JUST USE MORE INFORMATIVE THREAD TITLE!!!!????

    okay rant over...

With the capabilities of this game and the ps3 I am shocked they haven't figured that it is that good of a option.

Pitching from the side of the rubber on the other hand, I'm not sure what benefits would be gained from doing so. This seems as if it would just be cosmetic in nature and no "real" benefits come from it. However I would think that it would be included in a pitchers unique style and put into their pitching package.
Pitching form the side of the rubber gives a larger angle and is a legit pitching strategy. It effectively is similar to pitching by crossing his body and might provide a platoon advantage.

Some games (RBI Baseball lol) allowed a hitter to move around in the box to effective move his PCI (as called in the Show). Since the PCI is not tied to the batting stance in the Show, moving around in the box isn't necessary IMO.

And I think "crowding the plate" and brushing the batter is more about the mental thing than physical... because.....

It's not realistic to move your batter around the batters box. Hitters are very consistent about how and where they stand.

Ive noticed that some of the batting stances are placed in different positions in the batters box.
.... most hitters would tell you that it feels very uncomfortable to change where they stand in the batter's box. They would want to stay consistent in order to have a good zone judgement among other things.
