There is a thread about freezing....it's long...but it may apply to you.

They fix somthing as meaningless as roster order on the megatron at Great American Ballpark, but yet the still can't put the wishbone "C" or "Reds" behind homeplate? F@#$in stupid!

I just wanted thank you and SCEA team very much for the update. I did not realize some of these issues. Also I would like to say instead of filtering up the threads with the same question. You answered the big one in the fourth or fifth post about restarting your franchise. The only thing people need to is search the thread before asking the big question!

Nice patch, SCEA. I was especially happy about the fixed pitch delay that I found very annoying. About the game ticker fix: Unfortunately now ALL league leader numbers are decimals instead of only the ones about the pitcher's ERA!

Yep, the pitch delay being fixed is a big one for me, i hated the feeling of being rushed i had before!

As for the ticker, just turn it off until they fix it in another patch

I know this doesnt have anything to do with this patch... but... Wheres Yoenis Cespedes on the A's Roster and Freddy Galvis on the Phillies Roster?! I cant believe a sim game is not up to date on the rosters side! In other notes...: i guess this year we wont have a 4 wild card team single game playoffs! Jum!

No batting helmets fix, but still a good patch.

You're talking about the Indians ("C") road helmets and those Orioles helmets they wear at home? I also wish they would fix the size of the batting helmet logos, because most of them are simply to small, e.g. the ones of the Mariners or the Astros. I know they enlarged the "M" on the Brewers helmets for "The Show 12" but I wish they would fix the rest, too. Don't know how time-consuming that would be...

Great patch. I didn't have to restart my season and all the game times are correct. But I do have a question about that: has anyone noticed a change in weather when games start at different times? So let's say a game starts at 1:05pm when it's sunny out and looks like how you'd think afternoon should look. Now if a game starts at 6-something, or 4-something, does it look like it's transitioning from afternoon to night, or does it look like afternoon? Sorry if that's confusing, but hopefully someone can make sense of it, haha.

Download the OSFM rosters. They are in there. Best rosters out there.

I haven't bought the game since 2010 because for some reason some of the same issues seem to appear year after year that are deal breakers to me. I can't reasonably do a franchise when roster management on every other team in the league, from lineups, to trades, to contracts is a major issue. It just ruins the fun for me. One of these years, SCEA will put a focus on the fundamentals. That's when I'll buy it again. I'll just watch from the sidelines until then.

However, coming to the boards and complaining is a complete waste of time and just annoys the regs on the boards and people who love the game. I realized that after years of pressing to on trying to get these issues resolved. There's really nothing positive that will come of coming to the boards and whining about what this patch did or didn't include. You just need to accept the game for what it is and move on. If you want a fun baseball game, then pick this one up. If the bugginess of the game annoys you, then it's simple. Don't buy it!

can u help me why do the rosters reset after i start a season....i load my online roster skip a pre-season and start a season it reset back to default does it do that automatic?

Me too, but it looks like we're going to have to wait until The Show 13.

When the White Sox added the big out of town board to left field, that took until the following year to be in the game.

Kind of odd, since they have 99% of Marlins Field correct in the game...

That seems to me to be an issue related to The Show still being in 720p, despite the PS3 being able to handle 1080p.

If they boosted to 1080p, all the uniform graphics would be much clearer/accurate.
