So was anything done to improve the ball physics and all the high bounces i've seen in vids.

That seems to me to be an issue related to The Show still being in 720p, despite the PS3 being able to handle 1080p.

If they boosted to 1080p, all the uniform graphics would be much clearer/accurate.

I didn't say the logos are inaccurate, blurred or of low resolution. I said they're mostly too small. What has video output/resolution to do with that?

@SCEA: THIS PATCH CAUSES THE GAME TO CRASH WHEN STARTING OR SIMULATING A GAME IN THE "SCHEDULE". HELP PLEASE...

One thing I noticed since the patch is that numbers are being displayed with decimal points without any logical reason during games (bottom part of the screen) in my franchise, mostly when the league leaders are displayed.

So for instance, when showing the league leaders in HRs, instead of "(1) Teixeira 36 (2) Gonzales 32, (3) Ortiz 30" it's now displayed as "(1) Teixeira 36 .00 (2) Gonzales 32 .00, (3) Ortiz 30 .00" etc.

I haven't started a new franchise yet, therefore I have only noticed it in my existing one and don't know if this "bug" happens when starting a new 'chise as well.

How do you download the rosters and this update for ps3?

If you're connected to the internet, once you turn on the PS3...it should automatically ask if you want to install the patch. Once you get to the game menu, it'll ask if you want to download the latest rosters.

Every game starting from mat 7 th on for the entire month causes game to freeze. Never happened prior to patch.

Anyone else having trouble getting this update? I've tried probably 15 times and every time I get the 80710723 error.

I've looked it up, but can't really figure out how to fix it. The download is really slow and I've only gotten about 28% one time then it times out.

Is there another way to get this update? Thanks.

EDIT: nevermind, I got it.

By the way, this was an issue in '11, but I haven't had the situation in '12 yet. Last year, if ball four came on a pitch in the ground or something the catcher couldn't handle, the catcher was given an error on the play as if the batter reached because of a fielding mistake. That's not correct (as far as I know). Catchers were getting errors on plays where they had no chance to record an out.
