Mine froze when I went to load franchise mode using the "continue" option. This happened after I selected the specific franchise.

It went through the percentages of loading and said "loading complete". This is fairly frustrating.

Hmmm..you may be onto to something. For those having a freeze issue maybe try disabling the internet connection from the PS3 to see if this eliminates any freezing in offline franchises. Just a thought

This is one of my tops for the list (in my mind) of possible explanations for the freezes.

Knight would now be the second person starting an existing Franchise from either ST or Opening Day (without games played) not having the issue.

Though, I'll have to re-read Bcruise's breakdown, as I didn't see where on the schedule he was when he started.

The default roster franchise that I had saved from before the patch was about 11 games into the season (it was the one I had used for that CPU vs CPU test a while back, remember?

).

For the test that I just did today with the OSFM, I simmed to June before downloading the patch.

I'm trying to find out if anyone using a single team control franchise is having any problems. OSMF spring roster by the way.

I don't automatically connect to the PSN Network (I have only played online twice ever) and I use single team control... and I still have this issue. I'm using the Opening Day OSFM rosters I got from the vault.

Knight do you mean In-game ticker, or the real MLB ticker you get while being online?

If you mean the In-game ticker than I could see this being the culprit. You and some others continued Franchises from either ST or Opening Day (with no CPU games played yet) and have had no issues.

Except, Bcruise just said he was 11 games in and had no freezes...

Dang it. I was hoping that was not the case. Thanks for the info. Looks like I will continue my franchise without downloading the patch.

30 team control. The other games for that day were simmed.

It doesn't seem to make much sense that some people would have problems and others wouldn't.

Except (not really a smoking gun),

You, Knight, and now one other person have had no problems starting from Spring or Opening Day with an existing Franchise.

Well, other than Bcruise, who said he was 11 games in.

It just seems to me that most of these issues are occurring from later dates on the schedule. I'll need to re-read all four of your's posts to see if there's a common denominator for Franchises working that are different from ones that don't. BRB.
