For every similarity I'm seeing amoungst the successful Franchise continuations, I'm seeing another member counter that with a freeze.

For instance, I was trying to see if this only had something do with save files from later in the season. Bcruise said he was 11 games in using 30 team control (yes Bcruise, I remember). Thus far, this is the furthest in a Franchise I have seen where someone successfully continued their save with patch.

Except, Chadmac claims his froze at "4 or 5 games" in.

Which brings me back to the people other than Bcruise.

The successes all include save files from Spring - Opening Day (including Bkrich means including playing all games on Opening Day). All 30 team control here too (unless Knight is also testing Single team...he didn't specify).

I'm wondering if this issue is associated with the in-game ticker? Or something related to accumulated stats/leaders/standings that are implemented after opening day?

I have a copy of my franchise on my USB flash drive, but on the PM screen I don't have an option to attach a file. How can I get it to you?

For what its worth fellas, I started a single team control franchise (w/Hustlins 25 man OD roster) last night after learning today's patch wouldnt require me to restart my franchise. After downloading the patch this morning, I've loaded up my franchise, played 3-4 games and simmed a few to get me to about the 3rd week of April in my franchise. I have NOT had any issues with freezing.
Also, I do not have any sounds downloaded for my game and I have not been connected to the PSN when playing.
I agree with Knight's theory that it may have something to do with connecting to the PSN while in franchise. But who knows? Hope we can figure it out to help out you guys that are having issues and I will update here if I have any future problems.

Or...

Does anyone with Freezes NOT have Custom Sounds of the Show. Let's try to exclude or eliminate this possibility.

I had about 30 franchises saved on my hard drive with different rosters and positions in the season and I have not experienced a freeze with any.

I have opened one in March year 2012, August 2012, April 19, 2014, April 20, 2012 and I can't get a freeze to trigger.

Negative. Just a few songs added in for menu music.

I loaded a test franchise I had that was with OSFM ST rosters. 30 team control. It was about 2 weeks in to the season.

Loaded fine, but locked up when I got to the Rangers schedule.

going to try it with that save and the internet disabled.

I have a couple of home run sounds and inbetween innings sounds for a couple of teams installed. Not many.

Well, it doesn't appear that disabling your internet connection is working either. I disabled mine, went to the schedule screen, switched teams, and FREEZE.

Mine froze two times in the exact same spot. I was in my season and I selected the part where I view all the games for today and then play mine, which is the last one listed.

The third time in, I just viewed my organization's game instead of all the games for the day, and I got in. I'm playing it right now. I'll report back if I get a freeze... and I'll try going in the two different ways after this game is over to see if I get any more freezes. If I just need to go into my game differently, that will work for me.

Ok. I just downloaded the patch. Loaded up my Astros franchise. It was a single team control franchise using the OSMF spring rosters with a few created players inserted. So far I've gone throw all schedule screen and cycled through all 30 teams schedules. No problems. Check stats, league leaders, free agents and so far no problems. Now it's time to play a game. Oh by the way I'm on April 7th in my franchise.

Yeah, I thought disabling it worked, as it didn't freeze right away like it did before, but I just got another freeze when moving around the schedule screen.

Guys that are not having freezing issues, can you please list if you have custom music for teams or if you are connected to the internet. That way these guys with the patch that are having trouble can try these things out to see if it makes a difference. Thanks!
