Just installed the patch. Loaded up my existing franchise, click on Schedule and BAM it froze. I'm upto April 24 using Knight Roster with the Tigers. I'm also using a single team.

Do we know if this happens if i start a new franchise yet? I dont mind doing this but would like clarification first.

Holy crap!! Ive just had to switch off my ps3 and now when i switch it back on i see the following message....

"The system was not turned off properly the last time it was used.
The file system of the hard disk may be corrupted.

This system will restart, check the file system and restore it if is corrupted. If the file system is corrupted it may take 2 to 3 hours to complete."

I'm about to click ok with my eyes closed.....!!!

EDIT: ok thankfully my PS3 come back to life but there is no way im attempted to even play this now until further clarification from the DEVS.

First time I tried installing the patch, my ps3 just froze and reset by itself.

Are you using an existing franchise file? If so what team and where are you in the season?

Yes i am. Im the Cubs and i was 3 games into it before the patch. The date was April 8th i think. Now i have played 2 since i have downloaded the patch.

I just re-downloaded patch 1.06.

-I have to franchise saves using 30 team control. One I've played four games with the Braves and another I have played seven with the Rangers.

-The first time I had freezing issues (before deleting the patch) I only tried the Rangers franchise several times and it froze every single time after loading. I did not think to try the Braves franchise.

-I deleted the patch, loaded up the Rangers franchise, and played two games with no issues.

-After re-downloading the patch I tried to load both franchises again. The Rangers file still froze at the same point. The other one (Braves) loaded up with no issues, though.

I find this strange since everything is the exact same between the two franchises: 30 team control, no custom sounds, OSFM Opening Day roster. I wouldn't think just because in one I was playing as the Rangers would be the difference in freezing and not freezing.

So far since the patch download I have froze every time I check an Indians game boxscore. Other than that I have not noticed any issues and have managed to play a game in my franchise (as the Pirates).

This happened in a pre existing franchise. 30 control team.

Its done that to me before and everything has been ok.

Yeah, every time I've had a game freeze I get that message on re-boot because I had to turn off the system improperly. I've never had a problem, though, after it ran it's test or whatever and it only takes a couple of minutes.

I guess I didn't include enough details in my original post.

I only tried RTTS, I didn't try Franchise. I'm using the online rosters that were available when the game released. No custom roster, just the official one. I have custom sounds for my player's entry out of the bullpen. I am in my third season and the next game is the All Star game. I can load it up fine, but as soon as I click 'Sim to the Next Appearance' it freezes my whole ps3. I hope that this issue can be resolved quickly, because I have put a lot of time in my player, and I can't just delete the patch because I use the cloud save feature to play on my Vita.

Mine froze as well. 30 team roster control, OSFM rosters in mid-late April. I am playing as the Indians. Saw a couple KC franchises froze, could this be an AL team problem?

My freeze point is right after I load up the franchise during the transition point.

Not just an AL team thing. In my Phillies franchise, I went to the Braves schedule and it froze on me there.

I hope posting this does not jinx my franchise, but I am on May 13th of my Orioles chise. I control just the Orioles, am using the spring training addition of Knights OS roster, and have loaded sounds of the show for all of the American League except for the AL West as well as the entire NL. I downloaded the patch this morning and played a game which I lost (another story in itself) and am about to play another game. This will be my second game post patch. Wish me luck!

I'm using the Indians in franchise and I havent had any problems. Pre-patch franchise. Single team control. Im into the last week of april in my chise.
