Just a couple of weeks ago I had a Diamond Dynasty game against the Astros go for 20 innings. One of my guys hit a three run homer into the Crawford boxes in the top of the first, which made me feel pretty confident. Gave up three more runs over the next few innings, and my bats would also be shut out for the next 18 innings. Finally in the top of the 20th, one of my guys takes a low slider and absolutely crushes it deep to left center. The bottom of the inning was an adventure, and I brought my closer in (at least I saved him!) for one last out in the bottom of the 20th with two outs and runners on first and second. I got Carlos Lee to pop up to end the game.

There were many times that I felt like serving up a meatball to end my misery, but the further you go, the more you change your mind and want to win.
I also know what it's like when you have a "just one more game" or "I'll do this when I'm done" mentality. During the fourth inning of one game I told myself I'll make dinner once the game is over. Finally won in 15 innings and I was starving.
