ahhhhh which reminds me....we need a nickname for Myers now lol.....i'd lean with F.Rod before that bum Lyon.....i had F.Rod close a few games and he was ok (nothing special however) before i traded him away

I already got one. Caddyshack...because he's always serving up gopherballs.

Solid nickname, I can dig it.

I know the 'Stros don't have a ton of power, but I'm getting some power production from various parts of my lineup. Brett Wallace homers off Kris Medlen to make it 2-1 Houston in the 6th inning. He's playing pretty well in the first week of the season. Follow that up with a Jordan Schafer homer (lol!), 3-1 in the 7th.

Lyles pitched around 9 hits with 4 DP balls (thank god) in his 6 innings of work. The lone run he surrendered was on a Jack Wilson HR...Wilson is 3-3 so far.

that's what u gotta do when u play with them...outside of Lee and Martinez, nobody else is a consistent 15-20 HR hitter...hopefully Schafer turns it around when i restart....solid outing by my boy Lyles.....and Wilson is such a bum...u shudd be ashamed of yourself!

For sure, Schafer is hitting better than Bogey right now...if that continues I may have to make a lineup change.

But Lyon gave up a 3-R HR to the J-Hey Kid in the 8th...ATL ahead 4-3

Yea I can't say I've ever had anything going with Schafer either. Bogey has definitely had some great hot streaks though.

I love Bogey, he's done a lot of the little things that don't show up in the box score perfect (i.e. advancing runners, bunting, working the count, etc.) but Schafer has been quite productive in his handful of ABs for me thus far. Again, I'm not jumping ship on Bogey yet but if the production keeps coming...I can't turn away offense on a team so starved for it.

Not to mention Bogey's great arm in right field if Schafer is capable of holding down the fort in center.

That too...I think my next game against ATL I'm gonna give Bogey the day off and let Schafer patrol CF and see how it goes. If its alright, I may stick him in there more often and let Bogey sit in RF.

But this is the season debut we've all been waiting for:

                        ATL @ HOU
                        Jurrjens (0-0, 0.00) vs Milk Carton (0-0, 0.00)

I think I may try my hand at taking some screens of this one haha

this reason alone is why i had no qualms about moving Bogey to CF

What if I changed his name to Milk Carton? I almost want to because I would find it hilarious to see everytime the rotation turns over. And on the stats they show when a guy comes in the game hahaha.
