    It's not a spoiler, it's a joke...

Also, TheNumber35; 1.) Epic post. 2.) I want an update!

Yes it was a joke for one lol.

And I could potentially get my last spring update up tonight, and I think I have something else for you other than baseball (but don't quote me on that.)

I just quoted you on it.

It's always fun lurking on this thread, even as a Jays chiser/fan.

I agree. That's how I ended up becoming an Astros franchiser too...I used to be a Tigers guy, but I lurked in this thread for awhile and eventually made the swap to PS3 and here I am.

But my team is definitely looking a lot stronger this Spring than we did last Spring and Alex Gonzalez has been a solid pickup so far. I love his bat and the pop he adds to my lineup. Plus, he was very affordable too. A one year deal at around 1.4 million is pretty solid for a guy like that.

When do you plan on bringing up Correa? Also, are you converting him to 3B?

2014 at the earliest, and no. He's playing SS for me because CJ has been my best hitter since I started this chise. He's flat out raked and earned himself a 5 year deal in the offseason as I see myself with him as a key piece on my squad for years to come. Now, this season he'll probably play 1st for me (which is gonna be shaky at best) because my best lineup has him and Dominguez in it...since Hessman decided to go 0 for the century in the last 15 games of Spring. And no, that is not an exaggeration, he got 0 hits in 15 games, which amounted to an 0 for 50 something slump.

But CJ will be back at 3rd when Singleton makes his eventual entrance into the lineup in September or next season. Which makes Dominguez expendable if he performs well enough.

Wow Hessman failed..... Wouldn't be a bad idea to keep Dominguez as a defensive replacement, no?

I'd agree with that...except Dominguez has no secondary positions, and I'd hate to take CJ's bat out of my lineup late in the game. Especially when he isn't a bad defender by any stretch of the imagination. Which is why I think if Dominguez is playing well, I could see myself flipping him for some bullpen help or a power bat off the bench.

Not a horrible idea. Got any ideas for the bullpen guy or a power bat?

Traded Carlos Lee to the Mets for Cesar Puello, Jenrry Mejia and Matt Harvey.

Traded Matt Downs to KC for Noel Arguelles, Jarrod Dyson and Lorenzo Cain. Not sure why KC wanted Downs (he spent most of my season in AAA, I only called him up because of an injury) but whatever.

Yeah, I figured. I only read potential and overall (I know next to nothing about minor leaguers in real life). Considering what I had in AA to start the season I'll take it.

Cain put up decent numbers for the Big League team (can't find his steal numbers, but .287 BA). The only player I didn't like is Jarrod Dyson, I ended up having to put him in A because he was really bad in AA. I kept all the others in AAA and they seem to be pretty good.
