not sure what that trade would do since ur just pretty much stackin talent and having rookies waste time on the bench or in the minors but accept

im in my first year with the A's. I too have the 1B problem. I brought Barton up and he is crushing (but he's playing 3b for me and Allen at 1B and Sizemore off the bench)
I hate McCarthy in the rotation, I think I'm going to try and trade him for prospects and build the rotation around Anderson and Cole.

I let go of Sizemore and Gomes after year one. I've kept McCarthy all the way til now and this year we rnt doing so hot. 8GB at the ASB. One good thing this year is Derek Norris proved to be an All-Star. I didn't do the trade above and I'm thinking to deal Sususki, McCarthy, and either Cowgil or Soler. Hoping to get a stud. Bumgarner for those three would of gone through. Fair?

Barton's has been a consistent 260 hitter and at least 100 walks, good to have him
