Ok so I went back and simulated to the end of the season to see what would happen with the stats being messed up. The Twins ended up being the only team to play 163 games. They weren't in a tie for the division lead or anything so they did not have a tie breaker game at all. Now I am just really confused as to why this is happening and what is going on.

My guess is that with the schedule revised in the patch...but your save being pre-patch......it's not actually the stats that are "messed up" but rather it's pulling the stats/scores from the wrong day...due to it being one off between the saved franchise and the new schedule post patch.
It's looking for "Thursday"(your prepatch game(I just picked a day) but the game is actually on Tuesday now...and it's shifted each "look" for that game.
...and now that one day is actually missing.

What if I already had a franchise going, then downloaded the patch and decided to delete the patch will I be in the clear from the freezing issues in my franchise?

You would have to go to a pre-patch save I would think.

I misunderstood your post...it's the actual linescore not correct....I thought you meant the schedule score and the view today's games scores.

i started a franchise post patch, had multiple freezes, i restarted my franchise with the patch still installed, i'm still in april but so far so good, woooooo!!

Riddle me this. If you already have a season going, and you don't download the patch at all, what problem/s will you experience?

Yeah...I did save after I made all those moves...then I played a game not realizing that I had left the "post game auto save" feature on inside of my profile. That auto save over-wrote my initial save. Obviously I had intended to make a new franchise save after that game. Of course that one game I played was against one of the few reported affected teams.

I made additional saves after that first game for safety, but...well, I guess that was one game too late maybe because I later learned of this. And of course I've turned that auto save feature off. I should have made multiple saves before I played that first game, but I guess I got too excited to get a game in after putting in the work.

When I get off shift tonight, I'm going to sim a few seasons to see if I truly "lost" my franchise. I simmed one before leaving, and had all teams but 4 end with 162 games (they had 163).The good news was it appeared that those teams had 1-game playoffs, so I might be alright as long as I don't continue on or upload to the cloud and continue on the Vita.

I started my Marlins franchise when the spring training OSFM rosters came out, and I've continued playing since then, however, I've experienced no issues at all dealing with freezing.

I played this game for two weeks pre-patch with no issues. Now, I have tried unintstalling the patch and deleting all files associated with this game, I can not even go to batting practice without the game freezing. I reinstalled the patch, still freezes. I have not even started a season or franchise, I am just trying to do exhibition and batting practice with no success.

I uninstalled the patch and my game keeps freezing as well. Still only freezes in franchise mode though.

I've simmed the first season in my franchise 4 different times now. The first season the Rangers and the Angels ended up at 164 games and 163 games, respectively. The was no play-in game for either team.

The second sim produced no issues with total games at all. Every team ended with 162 games played.

The third sim also produced no issues with the amount of games played. The Angels edged the Red Sox with a Wild-Card play-in game, giving both teams 163 games for the season.

The fouth sim again was sound, with the Mets and Phillies each needing 163 to settle things.

At no time during the simming did I have any freezing issues while progressing though or checking box scores. I did notice two things though, probably unrelated to this particular issue. One was that some players, like Ichiro or Jimmy Rollins, were often not where they were supposed to be in my user-set lineups (I checked this using box scores). Ichiro would bat lead-off 5 out of 7 games or so, and Rollins would move up and down the lineup frequently. Now I imagine this is just due to player fatigue, be it those specific players or others in the lineup, and the CPU reorders the lineup the best that it can. It's not a major issue at all, but it does kind of suck to have Ichiro out of the 3 hole so often.

The other issue is that the Mets won the NL East 4 out of 4 times. This is obviously a game breaking glitch...(I kid, kid)

I think I'm going with my previous notion of shelving The Show until these issues are addressed, just to be safe. I don't know if playing the actual games would throw anything off or not. I have hope that I might not have to restart my franchise after all, at least.

How many people are experiencing the box score bug?

I also have the score bug over and over again. Freezes up every single time...

Same here. 4-7 with the Astros PRE-PATCH, and have not experienced any problems. Are we in for a let down later on during the season?

You'd have to download the patch, download the roster, then delete the patch, unless you had a way to obtain the roster file without downloading them through the vault.
