    Re: Tired players...

So I dont need to rest my players before they have around 25% of thier energy left, cos there is not much of a decrease in thier abilities/ratings and increase of suspectibility to injury before that point?
Btw, what actually happens if you just dont rest your players and let them play through low stamina? Anybody who has experience with this?

I havent played a lot of games in franchise mode but are position players tiring a bit too fast in the game? I have only played abt 8 games and right now it looks like none of my players will end up with more than 150 at the end of the season since I will need to rest them too often.

Penalties to ratings happen, is my guess.

I don't know what those penalties are, but how bad can they be? Albert Pujols with a 20% penalty to a few ratings is still way better than whoever the second string 1st baseman is. Hopefully someone can shed some light on what actually happens to fatigued players though.

very true! I usually give my starters a rest every 5 day days. also, I go with a 5 man bench and 2 switch hitter to make everything a lot easier

I give rest to players just like in real life for example during my seasons with the Angels I would give Aybar the day off at short stop and place Wood for the Sunday afternoon games for seven innings until I can pinch hit with Izturis. By next game Aybar was at full strength.
