I have noticed many umps with wide strike zones for the CPU but then squeeze the human player. Makes no sense. Either the umps should call it both ways or call everything a ball or strike not pick and choose.Comment

It's fun and interesting to believe the umps have their own zones but its just not so. The calls are definitely variable but one ump doesn't consistently call the outside strike and another the high strike etc. it just doesn't happen that way. Ive seen write ups on here about each ump and they are nothing but the poster seeing what they want see. Like I said, it's cool to think this is the case but it just isn't.Comment
