Rain delays would be nice, but be careful what we wish for. An actual rain delay often changes a games whole outlook. Starters are usually pulled after lengthy delays in real life. The games AI bullpen management is horrible enough as is, I'd hate to give them another reason to make it worse. And for some reason, I can't see them implementing rain delays in a realistic fashion anyways. If they can't even manage to get average temperatures or attendance correct then I see disaster trying to include complex weather affects. Best leave well enough alone IMO.

Correct. I think they've come out and said that they would love to add rain delays, but it takes a lot of work because of all of the elements that go into it. You either have to reschedule the game, or do a double header etc. All of those things. MLB 2k actually did this really well back in 2k7 but then they took it out in 2k8 or 9 I believe and it hasn't returned as far as I know.

I've always wanted The Show to add this but it's just one of those things that they have to get almost perfectly coded and put in place in order for it to work properly and not screw with other elements. It is definitely at the top of my list for features to add. It just shows how good this game is, when adding rain delays is at the top of my list of additions to the game.

I don't have a problem with people having the option of choosing, I never said that. I just think for realism, which everybody wants, that getting to choose your own weather is not right. Players don't get to choose what it is like outside. If they want to put it in then so be it, I will just choose random all the time. But somebody that says they want realism should not be on here saying that they want to be able to choose their own weather, because that is not real.

What do you mean it wouldnt be real? I follow real life, day to day moves of the real mlb so being able to choose the weather that's really happening in that town would be as real as u can get. Maybe u play fantasy and if u do good for you, which makes random weather good for you. But if u want realism what you say is the polar opposite of what is real.

What do you mean it wouldnt be real? I follow real life, day to day moves of the real mlb so being able to choose the weather that's really happening in that town would be as real as u can get. Maybe u play fantasy and if u do good for you, which makes random weather good for you. But if u want realism what you say is the polar opposite of what is real.

I don't think we'd even be having this conversation if rain happened more often, to be honest. Though I'm all about giving the user options.

Funny how most guys this year and last have complained about a lack of rain when I've actually seen more rain than I would like both years, at least in day games. It's the lack of it in night games I think that's really glaring.

My feelings exactly..Waiting to get rain during night games in my franchise. Not a big deal but there is something cool about playing in a game when it rains
