i play every game of the season, last year I got thru 3 seasons. I am hoping for four this year.

In my new franchise I've played every game so far. It is a little frustrating at how slow it is progressing, but at the same time it is great to own all the stats. Granted I'll need to learn to hit soon otherwise I might break something valuable.

I play one and sim between four and six. I just don't have the time to do all of the games, and I like to get a few years into the franchise.

Every year until this year I played all games for the Yankees and Cardinals (MOM). This year I seem to have less time so have started to sim the first 4 innings of every game. I pick it up in the fifth inning and play from there. It works well for me and I get to play in all the parks in both leagues.

Due to some time constraints, im thinking of playing only division games and using sportscast for the rest. Id rather use sportscast than simming since I seem to have more control and am more involved than simply simming.

I play about 30-40 games a season, not counting playoffs. I usually play 1 game, then sim 10. I almost always play a game in between there (I'll play important games, or if my team is on a losing streak I'll try and be the one to get them out of it). I'll also usually play the last week or so if I'm in playoff contention, just to get a better feel for how my team feels at that point in the year.

How many games do you guys usually play in franchise mode per season? Do you play every single game? Sim the regular season and than play the playoffs? Just simulate everything? Is it true that the usual method of most people is to play 1 game and than simulate 5? Or simulate and play only important games? Just curious because I'm not sure what I should do yet. I just played opening day in my franchise.

I usually play one game per series. I am like you though, If I am out of it by late July I sim to the offseason.
