RE: Will Middlebrooks
Being just twenty-four games into the season and not entirely sure how we are going to approach free agency with Youk and Ortiz we are going to decline this trade offer for now. We feel it is still to early to be making a deal like this one that would deal off a future middle of the order bat for an aging reliever, a decent 4th outfielder that can DH and play some first base, and a same age third base prospect. If you have any other offers for any of our younger players or a better one to get you Will Middlebrooks please don't be afraid to ask, but for now it is a no to this trade.

RE: Will Middlebrooks
We appreciate the speedy response. If you have any interest in one of our young CF prospects, Starling Marte, who is 23 years old and an A potential, we would be more than willing to try and add him to the deal and see what we could do. We understand if you want to wait longer into the season to see whether or not Ellsbury is going to resign, and we believe Marte could be your answer if negotiations with Ellsbury don't work out. We also have several young pitching prospects between the ages of 18-21 who all have B potentials. We would also be ok with adding one of them.

Guys, I'm not trying to call out names, just trying to help the thread out. Instead of directing him to the other thread, why not just give him the directions to posting in this thread. All he would've had to of done was post that he was the Cubs GM, asking the Rangers what it would take to get the 2 prospects. It's a very tough thread to use actually. Not a lot of people are used to having a specific way of posting for trades. Just trying to help.
To the user asking, just take a look at the other trade proposals. It's pretty simple and doesn't take too long to do.
Edit: Guys, please don't get mad at me lol Just trying to make this a productive thread, because it's a great idea.Comment

Also guys, I'm not sure how helpful I'd be initially, but I have been a Phillies fan for a long time and I would like to think I know a lot about their organization, and what they need to do. I'd love to represent the Phillies, but I'm just not sure how helpful I could be.Comment

At this point early on in the season we feel that trading Middlebrooks is a bad idea and want to see what he can do for a bit more in the Show, but come trade deadline or possibly the off-season and Ellsbury, Youk, and Ortiz are producing or resigned please come contact us again and we'll see what we can do in a deal involving one of your young starting pitching prospects and Marte for Middlebrooks.

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
I would love for him to post in this thread that is why i told him to look up a little to see some examples of what people have been doing so he could do it also, sure i could of went more into detail but his post was more of a trade discussion thread post. Also, only two of us told him about it so it was naming names in a wayIt's in print, check it lol

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
I personally think it would be easier to try and figure out which team you are going to be first and then post as that GM just so it would be easier for the Gms you are trying to talk to.Come hang with me on YouTube! I stream/make videos on a variety of games from sports, to action, to adventure!

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
Who should I do since I am rebuilding? Or to rephrase that, with whom do do you think I have a better way of getting a deal for Profar and Olt done?Comment

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
Personally, I think the Cubs have more pieces to work with offensively, but that's just me. I like the Cubs for you because they have a young Star in Castro to build around, and I guess you'd be planning on putting Profar at 2nd?Comment

Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
Honestly i would go with the Cubs. They have Jackson, Lake, Castro, Golden(RF), and quite a bit SP that could be packaged up for them. To get those guys though you will have to give up a ton since they are very nice prospects in the Rangers system but also it isn't really up to me it is up to the Rangers rep. in this thread.Come hang with me on YouTube! Re: OS Arbitration Panel Project 2012
Whoa, whoa, whoa....hold on a second. Putting Profar at 2nd would be a slap in the face. Profar has the potential to be THE BEST shortstop in the game defensively. Starlin would move to 3rd, and Profar would be the SS. However, to get him, the Cubs would have to give up Garza, Jackson, and another top prospect, probably someone like Baez.Comment
