To be honest AC I wouldn't. But how about we work 1 of those trades you would only do in your 'chise? Give me a bit cause I'm not around my PS3 at the moment. The only thing is. I would include your catcher Travis and I think you moved him. But, I would probably ask for a few others on top.

We don't want Hunter or Wells. If taking out Haren would bring down the price, I'll do it. We really aren't ever giving up Lawrie. And I would give up Encarnacion, but you guys don't have room for him and I don't want to screw you over.

Being a huge rangers fan, I get to see trout play a lot and I love the way he plays, he may already be best playerin MLB!(may be slight exaggeration ) If we could I wouldn't like to include Machado or Dylan Bundy just as they were the teams first round picks last 2 years, so I want to be a little realistic. I totally understand if they have to be included, but what would be a good package?

Thats what I was worried about! I don't think we could beat you. Besides Machado, Schoop, and Bundy(not to mention Gausmer or something like that) who do we have? Brian Matusz, Chris Tillman and Zach Britton!??!?! I don't think that would get a deal done! luckily he's not doing it in his!

You have no idea what's about to hit you lol.... I can think of a realistic trade for Carlos Gonzalez (that would most certainly be accepted IRL) that would give them 12 prospects and we'd still have a great farm system.

Hey pokerplaya maybe it would be a good time to reoutline the purpose of the thread right here not back on the first page cause us that have followed the thread probably never go back. I do feel that the thread has gotten a little out of whack.

It will get just as lost right here, but if you'd like to take the time to copy/paste for me, I *would* really appreciate it. Had a lot of PM's to wade through and would like to play myself and hang out with my girlfriend tonight. If not, I can repost it tomorrow, or write another "novel" about where we should be at.

I don't think it's "out of whack" as much as people are trying to do too much with it. People need to remember:

You aren't the actual GM of your franchise. You're a person with a great knowledge of said franchise, who can help others make a good deal in THEIR franchise because of your knowledge.

I've had a negotiation with Pittsburgh in here, for his Pirates. I wound up doing a very similar trade in my own franchise -- BUT YOUR FRANCHISE should never matter or anything you've done with it. You're representing your team in THEIR universe, and nothing but.

Last reminder, if you are a TEAM looking to grab a negotiation with a representative, make an OFFER using the TEMPLATE. It is NOT the representatives job to give you multiple scenarios that might work for you -- they are there to deny or approve a trade you would make. They MAY negotiate with you to get you a more agreeable or realistic deal, but that ISN'T their job -- and would be a "goodness of their heart" thing.

I try not to be "commissioner" over this, even though I'm looked at to be (which IS fine with me) -- but this thread has always for the most part "policed" itself. Odds are, since I'm only here 4 of 7 instead of 6 of 7 days now, and even then a lot more erratic than I was previously because of my CPU situation -- I think I am going to appoint a "council" of people who have been basically advisors to me since this started, just so problems or situations can be addressed even if I'm not here for a day.

This thread has gone much too far for us to allow anything to sidetrack it. If you haven't already read our guide to learn how to use this thread -- we kindly ask that you do so, for ease of use for yourself -- and to make things easier on our representatives -- WHO DO go above and beyond more times than not to help other people out!!! Thing that sucks. Right now realistically you both know Trout isn't going any where. He's the corner stone of the 'chise. Besides that. They have him under control for a few more years.

So AC. If you want Trout. Lawrie would need to be added along with JP at least. Drabek would be the topper.

For orioles. I can't do franchises with my rays or rangers, because I can't make any moves. I feel a connection to players and I won't trade them. Also could you imagine if I did it with rangers? The rangers have the depth, but that division would be killer! They would both win like 120 games a year!

Btw, if you have time, could you tell me what you would be interested in from rays and rangers also. If its good enough I might do my franchise wih one of them.

I don't know, but when you get to the editor to put in your message, do you see a "B/I/U" anywhere, because if you do it is bold/italic/underline...

Regardless, you have an excuse.. and I'm more wanting to stress that people need to leave an OFFER instead of expecting the representative to make their trade for them.
