Got two A potentials in my latest draft. C ovr, 19 year old 1st baseman and D ovr. 18 year old Leftfielder. Also got a C ovr. B potential Starter but his age (24) concerns me a little.

But I'm glad to see my scouts are finally putting in some work

Is he a high C? The starter...

          I believe he's a lower C.

You're looking at a pitcher that'll reach his prime at about 29. Mid C is MLB ready, bring him up at 25/26.

Re: The Official Draft Discussion Thread

The 2014 draft was just a huge success for my Washington Nationals. With 5 picks falling between the last pick of the first round and the last pick of the 2nd round my hopes were high.

              1st Round- 2B Frank Boston (18yo) C ovr B pot
Supp Round- RF Marlon Bracken (24yo) D ovr A pot B speed B Power
Supp Round- RP Antonio Mercado (18yo) D ovr D pot
              2nd Round- C Peter Carroll (22yo) High D ovr A pot

I had another 2nd rounder, a 3rd and a 4th which I used on guys with D ovr & pot, but with high ratings in a few categories. 18 yo 2B Hiroshi Nomo who's power rating is a little over 3/4 of the bar. Picked up 2 OF with speed ratings that are more than 3/4 of the bar. Im most excited about the 18yo reliever I got in the supp round. His ovr and pot aren't the greatest but I think he may translate well into a closer for me. His stamina is awful but K/9 is 3/4 full while H/9 and HR/9 are about 1/6 or less. I call it a huge success considering I picked one of the players that left in free agency to get me the supp picks back up in mid-may off of waivers.

That's a great draft! How are you gonna develop those guys?

Gonna be following Royals Guide for the most part. Any suggestions off the top of your head?

Great advice to anyone. Ive followed it with my previous 2 drafts and Im getting great results from a few guys. 1 or 2 guys in particular are gonna be ready to replace veterans in the majors soon.
