I've done two drafts and they've both popped up around June 4th, 5th

Won't be past the tenth. Don't worry.

Does anyone really care where I sent this from?

Just realized that the overachiever emails are MUCH more uncommon for pitchers. Also, I'll be starting a prospect development sim soon. Just waiting for Scott's ZiPS rosters to come out. He's including draft picks, so it'll be perfect.

2 quick questions. One: if I do 30 team control so Pujols and Trout don't get traded randomly, is there a way I can sim the draft except for my one main team? I already have 2 seperate settings for the main team and the other 29.
Two: How can I know if the players I'm scouting will be in the draft that year. I don't want to scout players I can't draft for a year or two.

1.) Unfortunately, not this year. However, you can just pick the recommended player for each team by pressing square during their pick.
2.) Any one below 18 won't be in the draft. Aside from that, it's tough to tell.

Dang that sucks. I'lil just do the recommended then. And I usually tried to stay away from younger players anyways, so I guess I'll keep doing that.

Just read through this whole topic. Wow!!!! There's some great stuff in here. Made a little draft scout guide for myself. What I wanted to ask was, any way I can get 1 of you to maybe put a list down by position of what you should be looking for when scouting please? It would be very much appreciated. Thank you.

Honestly, you have too look at Potiential, if thats unavailable look at bat or in some pitchers cases, break. I find that to be very effective.

Re: The Official Draft Discussion Thread

I know this is a draft topic. Was wondering though, with Royals plan for new draftees , would it work with young phenoms like Trout, Harper, and Stanton? I know Stanton is already proven, but how about the other 2? I know in my franchise, I had Trout starting the 2012 season in the show, but demoted after 2 weeks due to a bad showing and he's still not hacking in AAA.

Also I saw where there was talking about training individuals in the minors. When running a team, do I need to set training for each club ( ie bugs, AAA, AA, A )? If so, how do I train my A guys?

                              Thanks guys for any help.

Play Harper and Trout in the minors till 150/ABs or early May. And I'd think you should.
