Re: Players that have your # (and vice versa)

Brandon League is my mortal enemy. It's starting to become a psychological thing, as even with pitch speed at 0, I mentally give up on the game as soon as he comes out to close the door. Lots of closers throw hard, but he seems to have great command, and also switches up his pitches well. At least other flamethrowers seem to only throw fastballs. Like seriously no pitcher in the entire game gets to me more than this guy does.

There's a pitcher on the Marlins who pitches notoriously slow. I faced him for the first time the other night, it was so bad I wanted to just sim the game. I was ahead of everything.

I don't really have any pitchers I am better against than others. I can beat anyone if I focus, and I lose to anyone if I don't.

There isn't really any one hitter that dominates me consistently either, although it comes to mind that in all of my recent games against the Yankees, Derek Jeter always seems to have more hits than anyone, and A-Rod always seems to have no hits at all.

The one that comes to mind for me is Chase Utley. I can never seem to get him out.

Jason Kubel played against the D'Backs in interleague and in that 3 games series smack 4 Hr and 2 in one game after that season was over he was traded to in division rival of the Mariners....first series against him smack another 3 HR from then on now i just pitch around him.

Joe Saunders shuts me down EVERY TIME. Doesn't help that he gets balls clear out of the zone called for strikes (happened 3 times in my last game, yet I couldn't get a call on the black). But, he changes speed really well and doesn't leave many pitches over the heart of the plate.

Barry Zito's another guy that gives me issues. Otherwise, I usually do really well against left-handed pitching.

Arod...just lost 2 of 3 vs Yanks right before the All-Star break (7 back now, giving up on the division) and Arod had 7 hits in 3 games 2HR's (just 10 prior) he always killed me in our first series of the year. Btw I'm 23-23 at Fenway but 28-15 on the road...weird

              Pitchers that own me:

Brad Peacock (OAK) - For some reason I simply can't hit this guy in RTTS. It seems like I have his timing down, but it doesn't matter. I just can't anything to him.

Madison Bumgarner (SF) - His delivery is tricky for me to pick up his pitches. Therefore, he owns me.

              Pitchers that I own:

Felix Hernandez (SEA) - I was actually surprised when Vasgersian said something about my RTTS guy batting over .400 against King Felix. I knew I was doing well against him, but not that well.

Jeff Niemann (TB), Chris Young (NYM), Wade Davis (TB), Mat Latos (CIN), Brandon McCarthy (OAK) and Aaron Harang (LAD) - See the trend here? I seem to do really well against tall guys that throw from a high plane. I am able to read their pitches well and I do better against their off-speed stuff than most other pitchers.

              Batters that own me:

Luke Scott (TB) - Don't know what it is. There isn't a pitch I can throw to this guy that doesn't get sent over the fence. I am truly scared of him now.

Andrew McCutchen (PIT) - Not only does he get a hit off me about 75% of the time, but it also seems like he averages about eight or nine pitches per at-bat. He fouls off a tremendous amount of my pitches.

              Batters that I own:

Jarrod Saltalamacchia (BOS) - Very rarely do I strike out one batter five times in a game. But I have done it to Salty...twice!

Justin Morneau (MIN) - His speed doesn't help the fact that he seems to ground into a double play every time he comes up to bat. This could be because I have a difficult time getting Joe Mauer out too.
