If you want a UTIL bat off of the bench, I'd look at Ramon Santiago on the Tigers. Not a ton of power, but decent contact and pretty good defender who can play 2B, SS, & 3B.
Maybe it's the fact that I've had a Tigers franchise for the last four years and I'm familiar with Santiago, but I'm hitting .310 in limited ABs with Santiago.MLB: Detroit Tigers

Wieters is pretty good, You can usually get him for a pair of young starters if the orioles(Or whoever has him) Need em. He also has a cannon behind the plate...
