In a situation where I need a base hit, Eric Young Jr. If I need a double in the gap or a homer, Jason Giambi. Or if there's a lefty, EYJ.

Tampa Bay Rays franchise. I rotate my starters/bench a lot, so I don't really have any one guy who's always on the bench... but if I'm forced to pick one guy, Sam Fuld has definitely been my most reliable Pinch Hitter this year.I always feel like he's in the middle of any rally I put together.

Juan Francisco vs righties (2 PH homers that have given me the lead late in games already through 25ish games)
          Matt Diaz vs lefties

Jim Thome. Definite go to guy in MLB 10 & MLB 11. At least 10 HR and endless 2B. Speed was a problem though if he walked or singled.

I use Parm off the bench and he kills it for me. I've won many games because of him. You're correct on Morneau though. In year 1 of my franchise I hit like .240 with him. I just started year 2 and am 12 games in. He's batting .502 with 6 HR's and 15 RBI's. It's absurd. I went 5-5 one game with 3 HR's a double and single. Funny thing is he only had 3 RBI's because I never had anyone else on base. It's amazing how much I've flipped the script with him in year 2. Just like real life though. One year a guy will have an off year and the next he could kill it. Sounds like Morneau in real life to me.

In my Louisville Bats franchise, a different guy steps up nearly every game. A big reason we're in 2nd place, 2 weeks after the all-star break. Corky Miller came up huge in my game 2 nights ago, after he lost his starting job to the newly sent down Devin Mesoraco.

Jack Cust pinch hits for me in my Reds online season.

.363 average off the bench vs RHP. Don't expose him too much or he can't handle it.

                      I'm rolling with a 1994 Season Replay set....so...

vs. RHP it's been Jeromy Burnitz so far.
                      vs. LHP it's surprisingly a LHB.....Rico Brogna.
It's early in the season(just 7 games so far...)...so that might change.

Him and Scheirholtz always come thru for me. I always use Scheirholtz to run for Hector when he does get on.

Geoff Blum was the NLDS hero for me in my 2012 season, hero all season long off the bench. He was my starting 3rd baseman in the playoffs due to how hot his bat became.
