Knight, you're right about a lot of things, but as a Blue Jays fan, let me say...

No. The dude isn't worth the trouble.

Ha....I'm just going by ratings and his ability to land him.

His value is low, but his stats were pretty horrible this year. Also not much of a leadoff guy.

I traded for Ichiro about 3 weeks before the Yankees did in real life and plugged him in at RF for my cubs 'chise for the 2012 season. His Defense is just silly and he will hit enuf to fill your leadoffs needs. He wont take much either. I got him for Marmol, Soto and a prospect. The trade was Ichiro, Olivo for Marmol, Soto and a B level prospect. He was hitting .188 for the mariners at the end of June and I had his average up to .253 by the playoffs. I also swiped over 30 bags with him in 3 months!!!

He didn't retire for me in the offseason and is off to a crazy hot start a month into 2013. Its kinda cheesy but he can rocket arm guys out at first if they hit hard ground balls to right field. I finished 2012 with 19 outfield assists in a little over half the season. I think I have over 5 in April 2013 already. I feel this offsets the BS animations at 3B that the CPU gets every time. So I don't feel too bad about it.

Long story short....go get Ichiro he is exactly what you are looking for.

Too bad today's superstars don't feel this way about the game...
